My bartender and server Asha went out of her way to make my dining experience A-1! She was not just pleasant but seemed to go out of her way to make sure I had a great experience!

I was staying in the Westin and stopped in for dinner on my last night. Jeffery was our server! He was remarkable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Best of all I never had to leave the hotel!

I booked a reservation at 9pm for the Palm on Father’s Day because me and my husband frequented this place while we were dating 7 years ago. At 8pm I was called by someone at the palm and told they close at 9 and that I needed to be there early. I had several things to do and immediately got frustrated and stopped getting dressed. At 8:45 I called to let them know I couldn’t make it because of their changes. I was placed on a brief hold and told they would absolutely honor my 9pm reservation and that they had no clue who called and told me that. I politely declined. We ate our hotel it ruined the Father’s Day. I hope communication and policies are fixed within the restaurant to avoid this at a later date with another patron. I probably won’t be back.

Not at the top of their game. We were standing behind a family of four, who were being checked in, when the male host without any greeting or introduction shouts over and through the family of four, “do you have a reservation’ We responded yes and confirmed our name. The male host then walked away to seat the family of four before returning five minutes later and again asking “do you have a reservation”. I said “yes, it’s still ….. “ giving him our name. He said “oh yeh, I didn’t recognize you, as I wasn’t looking at you” 😳 Clearly not paying attention and then openly admitting he was talking to someone without looking at them. For a host this is lesson 101. We were then given a tour of the restaurant, approaching multiple tables, before he decided which table we should be sat at. He offered us wine OR cocktail menu’s, provide two special menu’s, but failed to provide the regular menu, which was provided by our server after being sat at the table for ten minutes. When our order was taken, we were asked if we’d like lime with our bottle of water and if we’d like some bread. The limes required reminding about ten minutes after we received the water and the bread never arrived. The server was advised of my wife’s food allergies, and she ordered the branzino. I ordered a medium rare ribeye, along with a wedge salad and some fries to share. When our food eventually arrived, the steak was a rough looking piece of meat, the cap was hanging off, and it was much thinner than the eye. When cutting in to the steak, it was well done ! I advised the server, she confirmed it was over done, and stated she would get a fresh steak fired. My wife’s fish arrived without the arugula & fennel salad, so just a piece of fish on a plate. When asking about the salad we were told two ‘stories’; it was pulled as they thought my wife’s LACTOSE & PAPRIKA allergy meant she couldn’t have the fennel !!?? And we were told it was a new kitchen team and they’re not up to speed yet. And add to all of this the measly portion of fries for SIXTEEN DOLLARS ! (See picture) My re-fired steak was delicious, but eating after my wife had finished her dinner, was not enjoyable. There are so many failures in our experience, which at this price point can’t be tolerated.

What can I say? The absolute most incredible Wagyu Lasagna- the recipe is 100 years old. My companions had the ribeye, strip and Veal Martini. Our server April truly enjoys working here; her genuine happiness made our experience all the better and memorable. Her level of service is akin to the Michelin star restaurants we’ve dined at. In fact, IMO the food is Michelin star quality, while being reasonably priced and large portions. Everyone praised their meals and service. The Baked Alaska, creme brûlée, and cheesecake delicious. Lovely wine selection with the full range of origin and price. We enjoyed a bottle of Caymus Cab Sav. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday and let them know in my reservation. So nice that they knew when they greeted us and they provided him with a card signed by everyone, including the chef. And of course a complimentary dessert. A very memorable experience at a restaurant where my husband had wanted to try for a while. I can see why they have regulars!
