Very unfriendly staff. When I first walked up, the guy working the stand and some woman (maybe the owner or the manager) were talking. It took a good second of awkward staring to even be greeted. After greeting me, she then continued her conversation, said bye, and THEN I was served. I came to the farmers market to get the enchiladas quesadillas things. I get them every time, but I still asked to clarify if those were the enchiladas quesadillas because they are not enchiladas nor quesadillas. They look and feel more like tacos. I asked if I could get an extra salsa, which I would’ve had absolutely no problem paying extra for. To which the worker responds that he can charge me for it and it’s $2. I didn’t expect it to be free but $2 for a 2 ounce salsa container that isn’t even filled up all the way is insane. I said “nevermind it’s not worth that” because it truly is not lol. He then tells me it’s a hard cost of $1.54 so they have to sell them at $2. That’s a 28% profit margin btw. Maybe he thought that would make us sympathetic and understanding of the cost but it did the opposite. Because I’m almost done with a business management degree and have worked in food service management for years. I understand how food costing and profit margins work. My boyfriend, who was with me, just graduated in Finance from Emory. So he also knows how food costing and profit margins work. Considering all of the case studies we’ve had to do, we know how pricing works. A 30 percent food margin is not typical in the food service industry, especially with rising food costs. 30 percent profit margins is for actual physical products. For food costs, it’s typically a 10-20 percent margin. Another thing is condiments like salsa and pico de gallo are typically loss leaders. You don’t want your customers to feel like your nickel and diming them, so your costs on actual food items should be marked up so that you can sell condiments at a lesser price. Another thing is that the condiments that come with the pico and salsa should be baked into the cost of the food item, I’m assuming they are. So you’re telling me $12 for 3 taco thingies is actually $10 for 3 “enchiladas quesadillas” which makes them $3.33 each. That’s pretty affordable considering it’s vegan food. A regular taco at a place like rreal tacos is $5-6. They could easily charge $15 for 3 tacos and charge 50 cents to a dollar for extra condiments and make a better profit and have happier customers. It’s very obvious this business is not being managed by a very intelligent person. So you put together 1- ignoring customers 2- a horrible attitude from the employee 3- cold not fresh food that’s just sitting around 4- nickel and diming customers it’s not a pleasurable experience. I just wanted some tacos not a lecture on food costs. Also the cost of tomatoes have gone down so $1.54 per 2 ounces of pico de gallo is ridiculous. They need to reconsider their costing and who they employ. Not coming back, thank you.

We were quite disappointed with our experience. Very rude staff and horrible customer service! Most of the items on the menu wasn’t available. We liked the enchilada quesadillas, but the breakfast taco and eggplant pizza didn’t taste good. Very expensive for the quantity of food we got. The whole experience and the money we spent was definitely not worth it
