  My husband and I went there for lunch and unfortunately we weren’t able to eat there because the grill plates they use for grilling had PEELING non stick coating (you can literally lift the flecks off) on them. We showed the waiter and asked if he had any grill plates that didn’t have this and he said no but they may get new ones in in a couple of weeks… My issue is…. WHY would you CONTINUE to serve customers KNOWING the surface they are grilling on is unsafe fore their health? To ALL patrons and potential patrons, please view this as a warning for your health before you are wondering WHY you have issues with your health even though you eat well and take care of your body! Do better Ssamjang!

  Loved it here!!! Our server Emi was so nice! She was sweet and explained everything really well. We got the lettuce wraps(ssambap) Kimchi fried rice and Kimchi Jjigae. All were amazing, the fried rice was a bit oily but the egg balanced it out well. Everything also came with side dishes (cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, jalapeno radish, regular kimchi, and a small salad) The fishcakes were my favorite. Definitely give this place a try!

  The atmosphere was really nice. Our server, Juan, was amazing. He was very attentive, answered all of our questions, and gave great recommendations throughout the meal. We ordered the Korean BBQ dinner. It was definitely pricier than other Korean BBQ places I’ve visited in the area. It looks like they recently increased the dinner price from $33 to $40, which was noticeable because some Google menu photos still show the old price and there were sticky notes covering the pricing on the menu. The skillets seemed a bit worn and older, but the food was generally good. The brisket, shrimp, and beef were all delicious, and I enjoyed the side dishes as well. The egg custard was one of my favorites. However, I wasn’t a fan of the tteokbokki or the way it was prepared, and the dumplings were just mid.

  They have apparently deleted my review. So I am going to submit it again to give others warning. Dont go here. This place is dangerous as server Kayla cleaned the grill while food was being cooked on it, shrimp specifically and then used the rsg she had just cleaned the grill with to move the shrimp around before informing us it was finished and ready to eat.

  If I could go back in time and avoid this place I would. It presents as an upscale facility. The decor looks amazing. Service is incredibly poor and seems to not know what she is doing. Opted for AYCE experience, portion sizes are incredibly small. Many items were sold out of this, which we were informed of before hand and were ok with. Kayla said due to several items being sold out they would discount it, She then came back after speaking with her manager she would not be able to do so. Told her it was not a problem we were still ok with what was included. There is a 2 hour limit on dine in, we were one of three tables and it took 40 minutes each time we ordered anything for it to be brought to the table. Kayla came and cleaned the grill with a hand toward while shrimp was cooking on it, moved the shrimp around with the dirty towel and the plated it for us saying it was ready now. Neither of us had any desire to eat after that. Go to Iron Age or another KBBQ place. Prices, and services as well as cleanliness will be significantly better.
