    I've been coming to Ssamjjang for over 2 years and it saddens me to say that the quality has dropped significantly. My first time coming here was fantastic, and I thought "finally, a place that reminds me of when I lived in South Korea." I ordered brisket today and got beef bacon, basically. The fish cakes are no longer whenever you want. They had a chimichurri sauce that could roll your eyes back, and that disappeared. The portions have dimished in size to half but the prices are the same. I ordered an onion today, and got a soggy quarter of an onion that had been on a fridge for a few days at least. I ordered garlic and got maybe half a spoon of 1 chopped garlic. Before I could get cloves of garlic, because they are delicious with korean BBQ, same for the onions. It's a shame, because the place is nice, the service wonderful, but the food has lost its magic. They added more and more sugar to try to catter to, sadly, a flow of customers that don't know how good this food, in it's real form is. I really hope this place does not close and they can go back to being one of the best restaurants in the area. Until then, I won't be coming back. Best of luck.

    Food delicious. Soju be expensive there. Took a little bit longer to get our meats which slowed down how much we got within the two hours allotted. You could see the guy in the kitchen slicing meats. Staff was friendly. The tall open air style made it difficult to hear everyone. We were a group of 8.
