I should have typed this long ago. On June 21st, my father, sister, and I, had a wonderful experience here. It was not only Father’s Day but also my dad’s 74rh birthday. The place was clean, food wonderful, and scenery stunning. Everyone was extremely kind, but our server PRES??! OMMMGGG. He was wonderful! Kind, patient, and most importantly honest. He deserves every blessing coming his way, and I hope he continues to prosper. What a wonderful decision to have him on your team! Keep up the fantastic work and vibes!

Enjoyed Italian cuisine in the heart of Atlanta. Staff is very friendly, environment gives you Italy's vibes. I ordered cold cuts, would be better to have Prosciutto as well and avoid having Gauda in cheese. Prosecco and cocktail was very tasty.

The food and service were great. I came for brunch and ordered the Serena egg breakfast, and Brandon was excellent!
Unfortunately, I’m leaving a poor review because of the atmosphere. A coworker (a larger woman with black hair) repeatedly referred to Brandon as “boy” and “good boy,” which came across as disrespectful and uncomfortable. Based on what I overheard, this did not seem like an isolated incident. Brandon appeared uncomfortable, yet the comments continued.
That behavior really took away from an otherwise excellent dining experience and will make me think twice about coming back or recommending the restaurant.
We had such a wonderful time at Serena Pastifico. From the atmosphere, to the food, to our server Brandon we had not one complaint. I highly recommend the crab salad. It was so good, the only feedback I could verbally communicate was "dumb" in the most complimentary way possible! Check this place out ASAP.

The afternoon sun hung gloriously above Colony Square, casting the sort of deceptive warmth that persuades a gentleman to abandon his coat, only for the wind to immediately remind him that nature is a cruel and sarcastic hostess. Still, the outdoor seating beside the bar at Serena Pastificio was pleasant. The sort of arrangement where one may sip spirits, observe society, and quietly judge strangers without appearing uncivilized.
It was but another humble expedition in pursuit of Happy Hour before my lady marched nobly toward her kickball engagement, a sentence which, had it been uttered in Victorian times, would likely have resulted in institutionalization.
Now then, I find myself burdened with mixed sentiments regarding this establishment.
As a sanctuary for discounted cocktails, Serena inspires little confidence. The Ora Sociala Martini stands alone upon the Happy Hour menu like a weary soldier abandoned by his regiment. Its appearance was respectable enough, yet the contents lacked conviction. One sips it and thinks, “Yes, this is technically alcohol,” which is seldom the highest praise one may bestow upon a martini.
Yet salvation arrived by way of the kitchen.
The calamari was splendid, crisp and tender without possessing the texture of damp correspondence paper. The shrimp bruschetta carried itself with elegance and restraint, whilst the meatballs were rich, hearty, and crafted with the sort of care one imagines only possible from an Italian grandmother wielding both garlic and emotional guilt.
One could plainly detect the subtle artistry behind the flavours. Somebody in that kitchen has suffered for their craft, and I mean that as the highest compliment.
My lady partook of the Barrel and Bramble, a beverage cruelly absent from the Happy Hour offerings, yet vastly superior to the unfortunate martini. She approved of it greatly, and as every wise man knows, a lady pleased with her cocktail creates peace throughout the realm.
In truth, Serena feels less like a proper Happy Hour destination and more like a distinguished dinner establishment reluctantly pretending to discount beverages for the public good. We shall almost certainly return for supper.
But Happy Hour itself? Ah yes, much promise, much ambience, and just enough disappointment.
