  My company orders at this location every Friday. They have never let us down. We order 10 large pizzas on a typical week and have been satisfied every visit. We thank you guys for coming through time and time again. Will see you guys Friday 😊

  I attempted to pay for my order using a valid corporate e-gift card that included clear, step-by-step instructions for the cashier. Because the card number started with a 6, the instructions specifically stated that the cashier should select “Starts with other #” on the register and manually enter the card number. The person identifying herself as the manager refused to follow those instructions and repeatedly insisted that the card was invalid because it did not start with a “#” or a 4. I even tried explaining that the # symbol simply means “number,” but instead of trying to troubleshoot the issue or follow the instructions displayed with the gift card, she became argumentative, dismissive, and rude. What made the situation worse was that I ultimately had to pay for the pizza out of my own pocket with money I had not intended to spend, while a perfectly valid corporate e-gift card went unused. A customer should not have to explain a company’s own payment system to management, especially while being spoken to as though they are the problem. If staff are unfamiliar with processing digital or corporate gift cards, they should be trained on how to handle them or contact someone who can assist instead of immediately telling a customer their payment method is invalid. This was an unnecessary inconvenience and an extremely poor customer service experience. I have already submitted a formal complaint and am requesting that Pizza Hut address the management and training issues at this location, as well as the money I was forced to spend because the gift card was improperly refused.
