Saturday evening while in Decatur we decided to head to the Toco Hills location. It was 5:55pm and little to no wait. Our waitress was friendly and handled our drinks and appetizer with no issue. After that it was all downhill. Salads came and my daughter had asked repeatedly for a refill on her tea. The entrees arrived and my steak (Outback Sirloin) was a really fatty and gristle cut of meat. I showed the waitress and she took the food back after I requested just to make a Fillet instead. 43 minutes later I received my food after my daughter had already ate and still was awaiting a refill on the tea. The waitress said they were making more and brought her a glass another 10 minutes later that was foamy at the top. My daughter drank it and almost vomited. she said it tasted like cleaner or salt!!!! We noticed other customers sending the sweet tea back as well. I paid for our food and we left in shock since we have eaten at this location several times. My daughter was sick and vomiting all evening as a result of whatever was in that tea. I emailed Outback's website and never received a response as I explained in detail the situation. I could have went elsewhere in todays economy and spent $91.00 at another establishment for just two people. To say I am disappointed in Blooming Brands and Outback would be and understatement.

My server was Joseph, He was polite. He was caring and he was concerned because I’m allergic to onions 🥴 I ordered the unlimited soup and salad, Sadly, they only had the French onion soup and the potato soup. Of course, I asked if the potato soup had any onions and they assured me it didn’t. But it did and I’m not talking about chives. I always carry my EpiPen, thank goodness. I caught it in time so it didn’t affect me. The manager came over. He was super caring. He said they have a chili. I got the chili. He said it didn’t have onions and that he would make sure there were no chives when the chili arrived to the table It was cooked with onions, I caught that in time because I always searched through my food. But Joseph went over and beyond something, I was not expecting my food for my daughter and I was free. He was very apologetic and very caring. Excellent service!! Thank you, Joseph. I will go back and see you again.

Steak was good as usual. The asparagus was overcooked and mushy. The biggest challenge was that when we came out, probably 15 cars had had their windows smashed and items taken from within. We were literally the first spots out of the front door and the car next to us had their window smashed and items taken. Food here is typically Outback, but beware the crime in the area. We were there from 1pm until 4pm…so broad daylight in the middle of the day.
