  By far one of the best soul food spots I’ve been to yet. The hospitality is phenomenal, the food phenomenal, and overall great vibes. My family & I ordered the fried catfish, mac & cheese, yams, collard greens, fried shrimp, a burger, and the Island fried rice with pulled oxtail. It was 10/10 truly. Highly recommended!

  It was so good. Chicken was fresh, spices were plentiful but balanced. Sweet potatoes were incredible. Worth a stop.

  Amazing food and service, they have something really special here. I came with my best friend and we tried so many things from their menu, including their delicious brownie and bread pudding! We loved everything, the Mac and cheese, the shrimp, the OXTAIL rasta pasta, the salmon, etc!! We will definitely be back.

  Mrs Ethel’s Kitchen completely exceeded our expectations across the board. The staff were so welcoming and friendly; and the environment is small but beautiful. From main dish and rich yet light dessert, every plate showed real care and consistency. We got the oxtail plate which was AMAZING, the best my husband and I have ever had. And the Rasta Pasta which was also very flavorful. For dessert I’d definitely recommend the red velvet cake with was not too sweet, very light and delicious. As for the drinks, the sweet tea and rum were phenomenal. It was our first time visiting but we highly recommend and definitely will be back!
