  We stopped at this Haagen-Dazs location after learning that the vending machine (that sells water) adjacent to it was broken. While the customer in line ahead of us was deciding, my wife said to the nearest teenage employee, "excuse me, do you guys sell water?" Expressionless, he mumbled something while motioning to the deciding customer in front of him. My wife was immediately perturbed and ready to leave but I thought maybe he didn't understand that we were simply asking a question. So, I decided to repeat my wife's question a different way, "we were just asking if you sell water as the vending machine is broken". He looked at me with the same blank look and mumbled something akin to "I'm helping this customer right now" motioning to the woman who wasn't quite ready to order. I responded that we did not want to skip her in line, we simply wanted to know if they sold bottled water as the vending machine was down. He ignored me, still expressionless but this time made no eye contact. Finally, another employee, understanding what was happening went and grabbed a bottle of water for us. It was so strange because they all had this blank, nonchalant look on their faces. Terrible customer service. And they say the children are our future, smh. He could have simply said, "yes, we sell bottled water, I'll take care of you as soon as I'm finished serving this customer". To make matters worse I also ordered a cookies and cream milk shake just to patronize with more than just bottled water and it messed up my stomach so bad I was in the restroom for an hour. We'll never stop here again when we're at this mall!

  We had a very disappointing experience today with your team. As a Muslim family, I wanted to buy ice cream for my son and asked if you could let us know which options are halal. Unfortunately, we were told in a sarcastic manner that all the ice creams contain pork. We found this response dismissive and disrespectful of our beliefs. We would have appreciated a more professional and considerate response, even if the staff were unsure about the ingredients. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve how customers are treated in the future.
