I visited this restaurant on 5/31/2026 while in town from Michigan to take my daughter to a concert, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
After waiting about 40 minutes for my order, I checked the food in my car and found that the fries were old, the wings were cold, and the sandwich was dry. This was surprising because I heard staff tell another customer that orders take 20 minutes because everything is cooked fresh.
I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with Yolanda, who told me to bring the food back. When I asked if I would have to wait another 40 minutes, she said yes. I asked for a refund instead, but she said she didn’t have authorization or know how to process one. I went back to the restaurant anyway.
When I arrived, she called someone from the back—who I believe was the cook—and he told me he could “warm it up in the microwave.” That alone was unprofessional and unacceptable for food that was supposed to be freshly prepared.
I waited another 20–30 minutes while Yolanda tried to reach a manager or owner but couldn’t get an answer. She kept my original receipt, told me to take a picture of it, and instructed me to call the next morning.
The next day, I spoke with Tara around 2 PM. She said she would look into it and call me back, but I never received a return call. When I called again, and spoke with Rebecca who gave me the owner’s email, which I used to send a detailed message. I received no response.
On 6/2, I called again since no one had replied to my email. Each time I called from my number, the call was picked up and ended. I then called from a different number, the call was answered immediately. I spoke with Tara again, and she told me she couldn’t issue a refund because it didn’t happen on her shift. When I asked if she had contacted the owner, Crystal, she said she had and assumed it would be handled. When I asked what Crystal said, she hung up the phone.
At this point, I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue. I left the entire order at the restaurant along with the original receipt as directed by Yolonda and have a photo of it. The food was not edible, the staff could not or would not resolve the issue, and the communication was unprofessional at every step. Still haven’t received my refund and no reply from Crystal to handle this issue
This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
