When I got to the register to place my order, I said, “Good morning,” and the young lady didn’t even respond. I honestly don’t understand how people are chosen to work with customers when they don’t have basic manners. But anyway, I continued with a smile. After my food was handed to me—and just to clarify, my order was a sandwich and an avocado toast—I was only given two napkins. When I asked for more, she told me that I already had some in the bag. I explained that this was two separate breakfasts and politely asked if she could please give me a few more. It honestly felt like they were being paid to be rude. She gave me only two more napkins. I asked again if she could please give me a few more, and she gave me just one additional napkin. I understand that the store may be trying to save on napkins, and that’s completely fine. But when a customer politely asks for something as simple as a few extra napkins, I think the least you can do is be kind and courteous. If there is a limit, simply explain that you can only provide a certain number, but there is no need to be rude about it. To the manager of this store: please talk to your staff and remind them that if they are working with customers, they should be friendly, respectful, and courteous. I don’t think that is too much to ask. Have a great day!

When I arrived at the drive-thru, two different employees spoke to me while taking my order, which made the ordering process confusing. I clearly ordered a large drink. However, when I got to the window, I was given a medium drink instead. I politely asked if it could be changed to the large size that I had ordered, but I was told they couldn’t do it because “that’s what was in the system.” If the order is going to be changed without asking the customer, then what is the point of taking the customer’s order?
