  The food is so good. It's an experience you have to have. Every time I go to this business, no matter the location, I have an amazing experience. The food is fresh and flavorful. Eating with your hands just adds to the adventure. They have something for everyone, even your vegan and vegetarian friends.

  The food was great and they had so many options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free, etc. The prices are also very reasonable. I will say the service was meh, our food came very quick but I had to get up and ask for silverware, our waiter did not check in with us, and my drink was never refilled. It may have been our server specifically or perhaps it was a busy night. Overall I would still recommend.

  I have eaten in-restaurant and gotten take out from the Desta location in Druid Hills. As a vegetarian, I love the Beyond Meat tibs with injera and gomen (collards). Everything is delicious, but the gomen is the best ever!

  Desta moved to our neighborhood a year or so ago, but we had not visited the new location, Within walking distance from home! With more than two dozen eateries nearby, we mostly go elsewhere for a relaxing and nice dining experience. Desta has raised the bar! The wait staff has obviously been trained by someone highly knowledgeable. They were equivalent to the wait staff in the French restaurant at the Culinary Institute of America. The menu remains an adventure in eating. I plan to work my way through it! Besides great food, great staff, and well-mannered and well-dressed diners, the ambience has brought a level of dining experience that you should embrace as the standard. I plan to do so. Another visit and Kirsten who served us as well as the chef and our meal reinforced my first review. Wow! If you have not eaten here yet, do so soon. Every bite I take makes me feel like I am in food heaven.

  I just ordered a starter salmon salad and the dressing was soooo good I wanted to lick the container a little bit. I did pick up but they were super friendly and made me aware of the food portions and the happy hour suggestion was nice so me and my husband will be here on Mondays to enjoy good food and drinks . I’m going to tell my girls too this can be our spot!!! Desta 10 out of 10
