  I have visited your restaurant several times and each time leaves me planning my next visit!!! The food is exceptional, the drinks and presentation is always so good, the waitstaff very professional and the music is always on point! Definitely one of my staples and you guys NEVER disappoint! I’m in need a visit now as I write this review!😜 If you have never been definitely put on your list to go♥️

  Deeply disappointing way to spend our anniversary. We'd followed The Continent since its grand opening and were excited to finally try it. The space has all the right touches and flair, but execution fell far short. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday night (one other table of four besides us), so we expected attentive, "white glove" service. Instead, our waiter, who knew it was our first visit, told us that they cater to a "quality over quantity" customer base, then proceeded to ignore our table almost entirely. After finishing appetizers we spent our last 30 minutes there watching the back of his head as he stood engrossed in conversation with the other table, while we waited to order a second round of drinks and entrees. My husband, who is about as patient as they come, finally had to request our check from the bar because our waiter was unreachable. We never got to finish our meal or actually celebrate the occasion. The one bright spot: the second server noticed what was happening, apologized sincerely, comped our gratuity, and offered a complimentary drink. We appreciated the gesture but declined and left. The damage to the evening was done. It's a shame, because the concept and design clearly have promise. If you're nearby and want a casual bite, it might be worth a try. Just don't go in expecting the elevated experience the space and reviews suggest, especially not for something you actually want to go well.

  We were in town on business, had a group of 10 and we all had a great time. Food and beverages were great and we went to the cigar bar afterwords to relax and continue the evening. I'm in Tampa and the sticks seemed a little pricey, but it's all good. Great time!! Will return when I'm back in town.
