I had a very disappointing experience at the Chick-fil-A in Cumberland Mall. The level of customer service was far below what I’ve come to expect from Chick-fil-A. I asked for a drink refill and even offered to pay for it, but the employee refused and instead told me to go to the back of the line. I also asked for napkins and felt like I was being inconvenienced just for making a simple request. What frustrated me the most was my order. I noticed my fries had been sitting for a while, so I let the employee know they were mine. She responded that the order said “Tori,” but I explained that the cashier had entered the wrong name and that my name is Troy. Instead of trying to verify the order or help me, she seemed unwilling to assist, and my fries continued to sit instead of being handed to me while they were still hot. I’ve always associated Chick-fil-A with friendly, attentive service, but this experience was the complete opposite. I hope management addresses this so future customers receive the level of service the brand is known for.

There has never been a time that I have dined in chick fil a and not gotten a free refill. Granted I always get lemonade. In fact, it's the only drink I've ever ordered from CFA. Today, when I went to order a lemonade, the cashier suggested the strawberry hibiscus lemonade. It sounded good, so I got something outside of my usual. When I went back for a refill, I was told that I i couldn't get a refill because it was a specialty/seasonal drink. I informed the cashier that I was not aware of that and he told me that I could get a regular soda. So I told him I would have a sprite. Before he could make the drink a Black woman in a pink shirt rudely stated to the cashier. " No, she can have water." I don't know where the attitude came from, because I had not been rude or impolite to any of the staff. Confused I asked why I couldn't have a sprite and a white guy in a green shirt said. No refills it's a corporate policy." At this point, I' m a little annoyed. But I take my water and sat down to read the corporate policy because again, i've never not gotten a refill. I did see where there were no refills on specialty drinks. After reading the policy, I spoke to Linda who identified herself as one of the managers to get more clarification on the policy. I explained that I wanted lemonade. The cashier suggested strawberry hibiscus lemonade without stating that it did not come with a refill. Her reply was "It comes in a clear cup, you can't get refills on anything in a clear cup" I can understand not refilling the strawberry hibiscus lemonade because it's a specialty drink, but I wanted regular lemonade to begin with (Also, it's not like I ordered a shake and tried to go back and get a refill on a shake or a completely different drink after getting a shake) . So I don't understand why I couldn't get a lesser/cheaper "regular" drink, when you upsold me in the first place. Everyone accept the cashier, was very dismissive and indifferrnt, especailly Linda. Everything about this interaction seemed so uncharacteristic for Chic-fil-a. So much so that I was bothered enough to write a review 9 hours later. There were literally 10+ other food and drink options steps away in the food court where I could have chosen to spend my money. But I chose CFA only because of the lemoande. It's wild that they are willing to lose a whole customer over a $3.89 transaction
