Good for a special occasion or celebrating a business deal.
Two highlights:
1. Less common: The green egg and ham…it’s a unique dish that shows off what a great kitchen can do
2. More common: the Sole fish for two (just be ready to hit the gym the day after. Buttery goodness is worth every bite)
So worthy of their Michelin star! My husband and I dined at Atlas last night and were blown away by the food, team of servers, and ambience of this establishment. We each had the chef’s tasting menu with a few add-ons: wagyu beef, cheese, caviar and wine pairing. The food was so innovative and delicious, each with a spectacular presentation. When I say that my husband & I are major foodies, I mean this isn’t our first experience with tasting menus at Michelin restaurants, both in the US & abroad. This was easily one of the top 5 meals of our lives. Perfection from start to finish. Atlanta is blessed to have this gem. I know you can’t see me, but I’m giving a standing ovation!!! Shout out to Matt, the cheese guy, who we met a few days ago. He wooed us back with his enthusiasm and impressive cheese tray. Kudos to Joseph, our main server, for his kindness and expertise. And to Mcswell, head sommelier, and his assistants for their recommendations of wine pairings. This is a spare no expense, special occasion, foodies’ dream kind of meal. Highest recommendation!!

Years ago I'd have said Atlas was the only restaurant in Atlanta close to 2 stars. After my 2026 visit, and having eaten at every starred restaurant in Atlanta and plenty beyond, I'd put them at the bottom of the 1-stars here.
Kitchen feels stuck. Felt like the same opening bites as our last visit, same protein cooked and plated the same way, dessert felt like more of the same and the ferrero rocher fell flat. One course was sent out without description by design... But nobody ever came back to tell us what it was.
Don't get me wrong - the food is great, but it's the same great it was years ago...
Service was worse. THREE dead flies in my wine glass. Somm's response when I pointed it out: "what a waste of good wine." ...paired with the attitude of the Somms throughout the night - it didn't sit right. That was my final interaction with them that night and it left a lasting impression. More flies around the glassware all night. Water pours got crossed up more than once (sparkling refilled into tap glasses). These things shouldn't be happening at a restaurant of this caliber.
At $1200 for 3 people, I'd expect more from a 1-star restaurant. I left feeling pretty disappointed compared to my first visit. I've had better food, service, and overall experience at other Atlanta 1-stars, and at plenty of places with no star at all. I'd pick any of them before going back unless Atlas makes some huge strides.
Second time coming here and it was a disappointment. The first time was a few years ago and the experience was no less than great, the latest visit was in May 2026 to celebrate our anniversary. The service was good, but the food was just not there, the food was as insipid specially the lamb, the desserts were literally a Reese’s peanut butter and a smiley face cookie. I was looking for more this time around, specially after spending about $800. The service like the first time was good as expected from this restaurant but the food quality was absent. I forgot to mention, the staff gave us a chipped plate with the chef’s signature and his staff, I would rather better quality food than a broken plate.
