  Very rude staff. Please be respectful. Please take out the order stalls if your staff is too lazy to take guests’ orders at them. And PLEASE change the atmosphere. I am shocked that this Sonic is still open. Our family loves Sonic for the ice cream and the slushies, but it’s sad to see just one employee working, burnt out, just to keep the store afloat. Please do better Sonic Owner/Operator.

  Customer service is non-existent! Horribly slow, no urgency whatsoever! To make things worse after all the patient waiting on the lazy staff, the order comes out wrong!! Customers beware, what a shame, used to enjoy Sonic, this is why they're closing.

  Waited 20 mins after I pressed the button, no one ever answered, there was NO OTHER CUSTOMERS THERE! There should’ve been no reason why after 2 mins there is no answer. I proceeded to go to the drive through and again no one ever answered. I drove up to the window concerned about them and saw 2 employees that were not working. Everyone says the same thing in the comments, and we get a generic response from the owner. Fix these issues

  I’ve given this Sonic in Athens chance after chance, and every visit is disappointing. The customer service is consistently rude, and it feels like you’re inconveniencing the staff just by placing an order. Even when I order ahead through the app, I’m still stuck waiting far longer than I should. What’s the point of mobile ordering if it doesn’t save any time? To make matters worse, the food is almost never fresh. It’s often cold, stale, or clearly has been sitting for a while before being served. Between the poor service, long waits, and low-quality food, this location has become one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences in Athens. I won’t be coming back until major improvements are made.
