Excelente velada , fuimos luego de la graduación de nuestro hijo. Lo recomiendo especial por la atención de Leslie y Byron . Byron a pesar de que no habíamos reservado , logró conseguirnos para comer.

I've debated putting in this review. I really dont understand how this restaurant has such high reviews. I had gone through the menu in advance and was really looking forward to my meal.
I came with my brother as a belated birthday meal for myself. We grew up eating fine dining with our parents and eat out frequently.
The ambiance of the building structure and art set off a great start. We had a fabulous server. Everyone seemed to enjoy their company and meals.
We ordered four items from the Kitchen. Two entrees, a side dish, and a dessert. Both entrees were cold. Our reservations were early in the evening and the kitchen should not have been overwhelmed.
I did not want to upset my brother pointing out my cold entree which was a Fish dish. He had ordered Gnocchi off memory and it was also cold. I was unsure if it was even cooked properly.
Keep in mind we then put it an order for Broccolini and it arrived cold.
Dessert was also cold but it was supposed to be cold.
Oysteria Olio is on my Do Not Repeat List. Typically, I will consider a second try. But most of our dinner was inedible.
I did like my dessert.
My brother did tell our server that the food was cold. Our server offered to return our dishes to the kitchen. My brother declined.
My brother declined because he said he expected the kitchen would produce the same cold results.
Oysteria Olio was a huge disappointment for me on many levels - Cold Food, Belated Birthday Celebration, and Spending Time with Out of Region Family.
I did take a lot of photos but none would depict the food temperature.

I decided to try Osteria Olio for my birthday brunch since I’ve heard great things about the restaurant. My family and I had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was pretty quiet when we went which made the experience very laid back and pleasant. I highly recommend the house focaccia. It was so delicious and already pre-sliced which makes it perfect for sharing. For entrees, we got the margherita pizza, cane americano pizza, breakfast sandwich, and polpette e polenta. Everyone was very happy with their choices, but honestly it seems like you can’t go wrong. Overall an excellent experience.

Celebrated our anniversary here with the chef’s tasting menu. Everything served was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive, helpful, and friendly- from the valet who parked our car to the waiter who ran our boxed food out that we forgot as we were leaving, and all of the other wait staff who helped us. It was a wonderful first experience and we are looking forward to our next visit.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out for some time. We don’t splurge on a nice meal often and when we do we typically go to the Atlanta area. We’ve tried out other nice places in Athens and have always been let down. We loved the location of Osteria olio, as well as the outdoor seating. We loved the decor and ambiance inside. The open kitchen concept was nice but the seating was tight for our liking and was a bit difficult to carry on a conversation because of how loud it is.
Our server was ok but it took 10 minutes after being seated before she came to our table. We saw several other tables that were seated after us that were helped before us. She did not check on us after we got our appetizer or entree.
We got the meat and cheese plate for our appetizer which we enjoyed, but were craving a bit more bread and pickled veggies for the price. My husband got the lamb meal which was delicious. I got the shrimp pasta entree and it was subpar. It could have used seasoning, but our server never checked on us after we received our food. My husband ended up giving me half of his entree and finished off mine because he didn’t want to waste the food. We tried a couple cocktails and they were not great and we ended up not finishing them. We didn’t have a terrible time but a little bit of a let down when you’re spending that kind of money on a meal.
