    I absolutely love Dutch and was probably the most excited person when I heard the Athens location was opening. I’ve been loving having it here, but since it’s died down a bit after launching, it seems a bit understaffed. Lines are very long, drinks and order queue are getting mixed up, and the drink quality seems more rushed because of it. The employees are great and the drinks are still drinkable, but not comparable to the consistency I’ve had out west. I hope it doesn’t stay like this for long.

    Trying new coffee places is always hit or miss for me because I don't drink caffeine. So I was pleasantly surprised to see a menu full of all types of refreshers and caffeine-free options. My go-to's are the Strawberry or Watermelon refreshers and I am a big fan of the chocolate muffin tops (always get it warmed). The real reason I wanted to leave a review is for the service. I went by on Sunday and was eagerly greeted by Zach. Zach was great and made the whole interaction nice and refreshing! I also had the pleasure of meeting Chandler! Chandler was great, funny, personable and he truly made my day. Thank you so much, Chandler! I left with my drink and treat in hand, smiling and ready(-ish) to face the week!

    Have always been in love with DB since I first tried it in CO, and I’m so glad they brought one to Athens, GA! Such an amazing crew, stopped by on 9/12 to grab me a pick-me-up drink after having a really hard day…the worker in line could tell I’d been crying and she gave me my drink for free- this crew really goes above and beyond, and cares about there customers. Will forever be coming back as long as I’m in the area!

    Between the excessively long wait, the fact that their lines will contribute to traffic in the road as people inevitably pile up treating a major throughfaire like a turning lane, and the fact that the coffee is just not that good compared to what we already have in Athens, what is the point of this place? Do you really want to spend 8 to 12 dollars on a drink that is somehow both tasteless and also overly sugary at the same time?

    I’ve been to this location twice now, and I have to say, I just don’t get the hype. The coffee tastes like average gas-station coffee, and honestly, I’d put it a step below McDonald’s coffee. The service at the Athens location is also slower than Dunkin. On my most recent visit, I was third in line and still waited about 11 minutes after placing my order. To be fair, the service was friendly, and the coffee was hot. But overall, based on my two visits, I’m not impressed enough to understand what all the hype is about.
