Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- GVGene VSep 25, 20261.0Nobody was at the counter for over 20 minutes and I tried to order on the kiosk and it needed a Tent Number. I went to get a Tent and the system timed out. Greasy dirty restaurant with no help when you want to order a burger and pay for it. Not going back.

The service is HORRIBLE and it has been more or less HORRIBLE every time I have stopped there. By horrible I mean either so slow it is ridiculous or the staff doesn't even acknowledge that you are there. Today, on my final attempt, there were 2 cars in the drive through, ZERO people in the lobby so I went into the lobby. No one acknowledged me, so I called out to let them know I was there. No response, I waited for a few minutes and tried again, at least I heard a voice acknowledging me so I waited. I waited a full 5 minutes and no one showed up to the counter. Keep in mind that the store was not in the least busy. Finally, I left without ever seeing a person. This location is garbage and I hope it folds up and something else replaces it.
