We really enjoyed our breakfast at Original Pancake House in Alpharetta. Everything was delicious, we had the waffles with peaches, toast with jelly, eggs over medium, and coffee, and it was a wonderful meal from start to finish. The service was excellent as well. The host at the entrance made us feel welcome right away, and our server, Jonathan, was friendly, and provided outstanding service throughout our visit. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’re looking forward to coming back again soon. Thank you!

There is something timeless about sitting down for breakfast at The Original Pancake House, where every meal feels like the start of a great day. From the first cup of coffee to the last bite, the attention to quality ingredients and traditional recipes makes every visit memorable. It is the kind of place where conversations linger a little longer and breakfast becomes an experience rather than just another meal. Whether you choose a classic stack of pancakes, a hearty omelet, or their famous Apple Pancake specialty, every plate is prepared with care. Great breakfasts are about more than food—they are about creating moments worth remembering.

I just left IHOP in Alpharetta, Georgia, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing, especially on my birthday. The food quality was far below what I expected. The pancakes were extremely thin, almost paper-like. The bacon tasted inexpensive and was excessively salty. The omelette contained large pieces of onion and bell pepper that were noticeably undercooked. I also paid extra to have cheese added to the omelette. Instead of melted cheese incorporated throughout the omelette, what I received appeared to be an overly melted slice of cheese oozing out from one side. It was sticky, unappetizing, and had to be peeled off the plate once the omelette cooled down. In my opinion, the quality of this restaurant has steadily declined over the years, and this visit was the worst I have experienced. Based on this experience, I will no longer be a customer. To make matters worse, the manager was unhelpful and did not adequately address my concerns. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience, and I cannot recommend this location. The servant was nice.

This place can be very busy, but the staff is fantastic. It's fun to watch the well-oiled machine from hosts to servers to kitchen to busers--efficiency with a warm smile! And the food is just so fresh and good. I always get a to-go container, because one meal at OPH is good for at least one more heal at home. Favorites: 49er flapjacks, Dutch baby, corned beef hash.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the sausage patties with eggs breakfast and upgraded my pancakes to coconut. It was delicious! The food came out hot and the coffee was also great. The portion size for the price was reasonable in my opinion. The pancakes I ordered came with a citrus syrup that was AMAZING and paired well with my coconut pancakes. They give you plenty of eggs and the pancakes were light and fluffy. The sausage wasn’t over powering and all the food was well balanced in flavor. Our waitress, Adriana provided excellent service and was very friendly. We will be returning!
