Clean and friendly service, but oh, man. Money down the drain. Nowhere do they advertise anything but a fried chicken sandwich. As soon as it came out, I smelled it. Chinese five-spice powder/star anise & cinnamon. Both of us took one bite of the sandwich and into the trash. Similarly, the menu doesn't mention the fries are tossed in some sort of sour cream-n-onion seasoning. You can't tell this stuff, either, from looking at the pictures. At least now we know and won't return.

At first I thought the prices were a little high for a sandwich, but after they brought me my food my mind was instantly changed. I got the Jolly Rancher, and it was not only a massive sandwich with a huge chicken filet poking out of each side, but it was also RIDICULOUSLY FLAVORFUL. I was already full but the sandwich was so good I finished it anyway. The staff were all very kind and warm as well, and the overrall vibe was neat and clean. Can't wait for round 2!!

Helluva chicken sandwich! Java Saga has long been on my "stop by if I'm in the area" list so I'm pleased as punch they made it up to Alpharetta. :o) Staff was super friendly and very helpful in assisting with breaking me softly into the world of Taiwanese chicken. I got a reco for the ABC sandwich -- their flagship and #1 rated sandwich. So... it definitely lives up to the hype. I don't know how they do the frying, but it's very crispy and yet not super oily. I'm thinking double fried. The bun is soft and pillowy, not like dried out brioche, which you're gonna need to hold all that chicken up. The bae slaw is like cole slaw but... I think I tasted apple in there which gave it a sweetness. Heat is good on this one. Has many options to amp it up. Okay, so... I should mention the fries. They are old-school modern. They're like fresh fries from your school cafeteria but zapped with some salt and other seasoning. The mayo-esque dipping sauce elevates. I was talked into the tiger latte, another flagship. I had it made with whole milk and half sweet. Good choice cuz at half, it was almost rotting my teeth on contact. Very good, though, especially in this Georgia inferno. Gonna be hard to wanna do a little Costco shopping and settle for a hot dog with this place so close by. :o)

Their window claims the #1 sandwich in Georgia. Bold. I showed up specifically to see if they could back it up. They can. 🍗 The ABC is the one doing the heavy lifting — a Taiwanese chicken cutlet roughly the size of a manhole cover, jalapeño cheese, apple slaw, pickles, mango habanero. Taiwanese roots with a Southern accent, and it somehow holds together instead of dissolving into a delicious mess in your lap. Crispy outside, actually juicy inside, which is the part most places fumble. Chick Bits are a menace — 5-spice, dark meat, fried basil on top, gone before I sat down. And the Lu Rou Fan is the sleeper pick: braised pork belly over rice that tastes like somebody's grandma is in the back quietly judging your life choices. Sauce ranking nobody asked for: jalapeño ranch wins, mango habanero is a very close second. Just get both. Washed it all down with a Bobo Tiger's Blood, which I've thought about several times since at hours when a normal person would not be thinking about boba. 🧋 Staff were friendly and clearly proud of what they're putting out, which you can taste. Window's not lying. Alpharetta got lucky. 🇹🇼
