The guy at the front desk Ravi was very rude. He was not initially ready to customize when we ask to replace poori with chapati (but eventually did) and questioned pappad also oil right and I gave back my pappad and also did not agree to replace sweet with more vegetables. Not everyone eats sweets and poori with oil. So, he needs to be more polite in his approach. Honestly, the other lady was very courteous. Also, they have a tendency to keep the customer waiting while doing some work. That should be corrected as well. If these constructive feedbacks are corrected, this restaurant can also grow

Disappointment with the thali at Brundavan Cafe, Alpharetta. Looking at the reviews and the items shown online, I genuinely expected a much better and fuller South Indian thali experience. But honestly, it did not feel like they delivered on that at all. I was shocked that even the sambar and rasam tasted bland the two things that usually define a good South Indian thali. Even the dal was confusing because I genuinely couldn’t tell whether it was supposed to be muddapappu or mangodal or tomatodal. There was no proper flavor or clarity to it. There was also no fry item included, and the only curry was okra curry (maybe pulusu), which made the meal feel incomplete. The one puri and sweet were okay.Frankly speaking, disappointing for the price and not something I would order again. Insta reels definitely overhyped this place. RESPONSE FOR YOUR REPLY : I appreciate the response, but I need to clearly clarify one thing — the statement saying that “additional portions were requested during your visit” is completely incorrect. I never asked for any extra portions at all...its 10000 % incorrect out of 100%. That statement felt unfair because it indirectly shifts the blame onto the customer instead of simply accepting genuine feedback. Constructive criticism should not be countered with inaccurate assumptions to make the experience appear different from what it actually was. To be frank & fair, I left most of the food on my plate itself. That alone should explain my actual dining experience. ALSO, SINCE I WAS NOT GIVEN A PROPER OPTION TO REPLY DIRECTLY UNDER YOUR COMMENT AND CLARIFY MY SIDE, I AM EDITING THIS REVIEW TO ADDRESS IT HERE ITSELF. HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND MY CONCERN. All the best to you.

Visited Brindavan Cafe today after seeing a lot of Insta Reels hype, but the experience was disappointing. We ordered the thali, pudina dosa, coffee, and masala tea. The coffee was decent, and the tea was okay, but the food quality was very average. The pudina dosa was just mid-level, nothing special at all. The thali was the biggest disappointment. Other than the dal, almost nothing tasted good. The rasam was extremely watery with no flavor. The vegetable biryani/fried rice in the thali tasted heavily of packet masala and was honestly one of the worst versions I’ve had. The dessert (Kesari) looked like it had a lot of ghee, but there wasn’t even the aroma or taste of real ghee. Overall, the food felt very basic and lacked authenticity or freshness. What made the experience worse was the service. Since I couldn’t eat most of the thali items, I politely asked if they could give a little extra dal not a full refill of rice or sides but the request was bluntly refused. Just sharing this review so people don’t go only by social media hype. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.
