Exceptional service here. Stellar customer service. Down home friendly cashiers. Always a lane open. No self service to deal with . I love my local neighborhood Food Lion.. I have become almost friends with most of the cashiers here. We always come in late night and we always try to go through the number 1 lane and see Wyatt. He is wonderful! God bless this company! And all of its employees!

I noticed that the employees on the registers do not have chairs and i cannot imagine a good reason why? Standing in a stationary position can be excessively straining, and tired workers make *mistakes*. I dont know about you but i like to be assured that whoever is handling my groceries and money is well rested and properly taken care of, not straining. I always like to see a good hard working cashier sitting down because it assures me that the employees are valued. And a valued employee has reason to care. When i see someone standing, i imagine the anguish of forcing tired legs straight and how difficult it must be to think on their most tired days, and its a clear reflection of how little the employees e valued. I value the employees a lot because they keep my local grocery store running well. Its a shame to see that the store doesn't value them in the same way.

Woman in store uniform was smoking weed in the parking lot, lit a cigarette in the car after the closing windows. Proceeded to go into the store, so i assume she clocked in under the influence, and probably smelled just as amazing as her class. Not the best look. Pretty sure there is also a no drug policy?

Food Lion used to have the best freshest and cleanest produce department. I don't know what's happened but their produce has been terrible lately I bought jalapeno peppers that were not very good they were rotten they were old I also bought some of their corn that's advertised as fresh corn on the cob however I bought four ears and each one of them was moldy. Other than that it's an okay store.
