  Food is always good, portions are generous, employees are nice, and everything comes out super quick. We were surprised at how fast we received everything. Love that we can just hop off the lake and stop here on the way home!

  The burgers were a little too greasy for my taste. The lady with lots of tattoos who took our order came across as rude, which made the experience less enjoyable. Hopefully, it was just an off day and not a reflection of the business.

  Very unassuming place. I’ve passed by many times over the past year and never thought about going inside. The parking lot is gravel and the building is not inspiring. However, today my wife googled and saw the glowing reviews. We stopped and ate lunch. We ate it there on an inside picnic table. We both had smash burgers and they were awesome! I also had coleslaw that was ok. For dessert, we shared banana pudding. That was wonderful!!! Try it. If you like banana pudding, you’ll love it. Being a retired small business owner, I would suggest making the dining area with a theme. Country, old time…. I would also suggest spending a few dollars on some marketing flags for the parking lot stating that their five star reviewed with over 260 on Google.

  We were camping in the area when a park volunteer recommended Hyde Out as having one of the best hamburgers he's ever had. We didn't take that seriously but gave it a go. From the outside, not attractive, low frills, we would have missed it. The food however was everything the park volunteer promised. It's a few miles off the I-75, but definitely worth the detour. We'll be back.
