  They are finally opened! I came here during the soft opening period. So I’m very familiar with Mecatos and their menu. So I was excited that they open a new location closer to me and with parking. No more going to DT location and finding parking! Currently they are closing early at 6 PM due to their soft opening. Hopefully they extend it way longer. Food: as expected they have the same menu as the other locations except this location will serve coffee cocktails at their bar. I ended up getting pan de Bono ,empanadas , and café con Leche. Super fresh pan de bono especially in the morning. They have a good aji for the empanadas. Empanadas were crispy and fresh. You can tell they use clean oil so that is great news! because I only get a bad reaction when I eat something that is cooked with dirty oil. However I didn’t feel bad afterwards after this meal 😊. 4.5/5 Service: they are still working out the kinks and still training. So i m sure they ll get better. Currently, there was a miscommunication where my coffee was not delivered until 15 minutes later. It was not busy either. 4/5 Atmosphere: this space is spacious where you can work from here which I did. I worked all day from here from 8 AM till 6 PM. It is a bit noisy when everyone’s talking because the place echoes. They also have like a library area, where it does help with a noise. They do have limited seating with outlets. But overall, this space design is done well. Definitely different vibe from the other locations. 5/5 I hope they fix their app from crashing so I can use it in this location to pre-order. Super excited for this location since it’s so close to me, and hopefully they extend their hours to at least 10pm for the area.

  Continuing my quest for delicious lattes across Winter Park, I arrived at the newly finished and beautifully appointed, Mecatos Bakery and Cafe. Parking onsite, outdoor seating with fans, menu a mile long, and most importantly, coffee (and lots of it). Interior looks fantastic. They really did a great job with seat selection and even have multiple areas to sit and read a book, or connect as a group. Latte did not disappoint, delicious in fact. Love this city and this place fits into the great vibes of Winter Park.

  What a beautiful addition to Winter Park! The new Mecatos space is absolutely gorgeous — easily one of those places that makes you want to stay awhile. The coffee was good, and overall we really enjoyed the experience. The food still needs a little more refinement, but considering they are currently in soft opening, I think that is completely understandable. I am confident some of those details will improve once they move into regular operations. The space alone is worth visiting, the coffee is already solid, and it is genuinely great news to have a place like this in Winter Park. We will definitely be back.

  Love this new Mecatos location, easily in my top 3! The service is great, Food is good, and the establishment is beautiful. Can't believe this place was The Coop before, they did a great job with the remodeling. I personally really loved the bookstore area they have, its nice to study or to read a book. I'm excited and patiently waiting for the Bar/Roasting area to open up as well. Definitely coming back and recommending it to Family and friends.

  This place gives the winter park feel! It’s so gorgeous and brand new inside. It smells like coffee right when you walk in and it’s super clean. The food is excellent and the coffee is even better. We had the grand breakfast, the Colombian burger, the cappuccino, cafe mocha, arepa, Colombian coffee, and passion fruit smoothie. Everything was delicious. This will definitely be the new spot to bring all my family and friends to get a nice breakfast/lunch/drink! We will be back!
