  This has become one of my favorite spots in Winter Haven. I always order the tejano tacos and they are delicious. They’re also offering drive thru specials right now. I was able to get 3 tacos, rice and beans, a soda, and chips for under $13. Excellent deal. I also met the owner and he was very friendly and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with everything. You can dine in or go through the drive thru and have your food very fast…like 5 minutes fast.

  When this first opened it was amazing. I just ordered take out tacos. The filling was unseasoned, not under seasoned, ground beef, and the corn was dry, no butter, and no seasoning. I was grateful for the flavors when they first opened. My last 2 visits were progressively worse, and today's was a total waste of time and money. Great people, worse food ever. Seriously, I've never had Mexican food that was more bland than hospital food before. Now I have

  Food was the worst I am not a picky eater and this place was disgusting. We had enchiladas that tasted bland with canned tomato sauce and cold rubbery chicken, refried beans taste better coming from a can these were loaded with oil and no flavor at all didn’t taste like beans. Also ordered chile rellenos which were just imitation cheese, you could barely see the pepper or taste it. It was a waste of $59.00 Taco Bell has more flavor than this place everything tasted reheated. I also saw the manager/owner yelling at the waitress, will definitely stay away from this place. The food was not worth taking pictures of so I uploaded a pic of myself instead lol 😂 The owner replied that i was taking selfies. I was with my mother and sister that day treating them both for Mother’s Day unfortunately we were disgusted by the food and lack of care after we complained several times not once did the manager ask to check on us or discuss what went wrong, instead he was busy yelling at the waitress , it was my first and last visit. These reviews must be fake possibly from family members or friends.

  None of the good things said happened to us. Must have been an off night. Slow service, overcharged for bottled beer, barely any beef on the beef nachos, not much steak on wife’s’ salad. Had high hopes because of the wonderful reviews. Food is tasty for sure, just lacked quantity. Oh well.. sorry. Won’t be returning.

  KITCHEN NIGHTMARES IRL Me and a friend of mine attended their Restaurant yesterday for Cinco De Mayo. We were immediately sat down but completely forgotten or ignored by everyone. It took the 20 to 30 minutes just for our drink order. The manager, or host, (the drunk guy giving away free shots) literally was the one who finally decided to take our order, but stopped mid sentence to pull a waitress in to take it instead. The same ones that were completely ignoring us. Our appetizers were okay but one came out wrong after we specified what we’d like. One of my appetizers was a bean dip that I could not finish because we ran out of chips. I asked 2 different servers for chip refills, we never got it. When it was finally over an HOUR in and we still haven’t gotten our main dish…that’s when it all felt weird. I pulled the only black waiter there aside to ask for the check for being dissatisfied. He apologized and immediately told the drunk host….the host didn’t even come to us and apologized. Immediately walked away, came back 10 mins later slurring his words and avoiding eye contact. More time goes by and our “actual” server comes by to ask if we still want our food because it’s finally ready, we can just take it to go…I tiredly said sure but ended up leaving after they took over 5 mins to pack supposedly ready food. I timed other people’s interactions there and people were drinks orders were taken within 30 seconds. But ours took 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I’d never eat there again and considered making a video complaint because the service was that bad.
