This McDonald’s already charged way too much for drinks compared to other McDonald’s locations, but they recently started charging ever MORE for any drink that isn’t regular Coke. Even Diet Coke. There is no other place, another McDonald’s or any other fast food place, that charges a different price for normal soft drinks. It’s just a scam to get extra money out of people and it’s completely ridiculous.
As someone trying to watch what I spend, I often get a value meal. I’m now being charged extra on that value meal if I choose to get Dr Pepper. Anyone who orders some kind of meal will now get an extra charge on top of the meal price if they choose any drink that isn’t Coke.
I have already had some issues with this location taking too long and getting my order wrong at times. Even though this location is convenient for me, this has just put me over the edge, and I will no longer be going to this location for now until changes happen.

The young adults who work here are so polite and kind. The Diet Coke here seems to run out often but the customer service is exceptional.

I just want to say how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Tracy and Andrea were. They were kind, welcoming, respectful and super sweet. They had the best attitude and treated my friend and I with amazing service.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a very upsetting experience I had at this drive-thru location.
I ordered a chicken sandwich (meal #4C). After taking a couple of bites, I noticed the chicken was extremely tough and difficult to chew. I even had to spit it out. Because of this, I returned to the drive-thru to request a replacement.
Instead of receiving help, I was treated very disrespectfully by the manager, whose name is Cody. He immediately said, “There are only two bites missing,” implying that I was trying to take advantage of the situation. I was shocked and explained that more than half of the sandwich was still there and that the food quality was the issue.
The situation escalated when he continued to argue, laughed at me, and told me to leave. When I said I would not leave, he threatened to call the police. This happened while my 6-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter were in the car, both crying due to the situation. I eventually left because there was another car behind me and the situation was becoming overwhelming.
This level of disrespect and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. I was not asking for anything unreasonable—only a replacement for food that was clearly not edible. Instead, I was accused, mocked, and threatened.
I also have a photo of the sandwich as evidence.
I would appreciate it if this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately. I expect a response regarding what actions will be taken.
I’ve been to this location multiple times since it’s only about 5 minutes from my home, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently frustrating. Every time I go through the drive-thru, the staff seems impatient and rushed. While ordering, they repeatedly interrupt to ask if I’m done after every item, which makes the process stressful instead of smooth. A little patience would go a long way—I will let you know when I’m finished ordering.
When I get to the window, the attitude doesn’t improve. The service feels unfriendly, and I often end up waiting over 10 minutes just for a simple Happy Meal. On one visit, I was also waiting on cookies while my babies were crying in the car, and even after politely asking about the wait, I was met with more attitude instead of understanding. That was really upsetting.
It’s disappointing because this location is so convenient for us, but the lack of customer service and professionalism makes me not want to come back. Customers are paying for their food, not receiving it for free—basic courtesy, patience, and efficiency should be part of the experience. This location seriously needs better training and a major improvement in staff attitude.
