  Customer Service Complaint – BOGO Burger Promotion I visited Five Guys during the BOGO burger promotion, fully expecting it to be busy. However, I was extremely disappointed by how unprepared and disorganized the location appeared to be. There seemed to be very little structure or organization in how orders were being handled. Tickets did not appear to be prepared in the order they were received, and I observed an employee setting tickets aside and choosing which orders to work on. Unfortunately, neither the employee nor the manager was wearing a name tag, so I cannot provide their names. For identification purposes, the employee was a woman with braids, and the manager was a tall man. I understand that promotional events can create unusually high customer volume, and the manager stated that they did not expect the restaurant to be as busy as it was. However, when a BOGO promotion is being advertised, I would expect the location to have a reasonable plan in place to handle the increased demand. I waited approximately two hours for my order. After waiting that long, the manager handed me my bag in a manner that felt dismissive and disrespectful, essentially tossing it toward me. At that point, I was understandably frustrated. I also expressed my concern that the employee preparing the orders appeared to be repeatedly pushing my ticket aside rather than processing it in the order it was received. From my perspective, it felt intentional and unnecessarily disrespectful. I am not upset simply because I had to wait during a busy promotion. My concern is the lack of organization, communication, professionalism, and customer service throughout the experience. A long wait can be understandable when a restaurant is overwhelmed, but customers should still be treated respectfully and orders should be handled in a fair and organized manner. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to improve how promotional events are staffed, organized, and managed in the future.

  This was my first time trying Five Guys in Florida. I had it previously in New York and thought it was fantastic, so unfortunately this visit was disappointing. The fries were extremely greasy, and the burger was about a 6/10. The bun was completely soaked with grease, and shortly after eating I actually started to feel ill. The service was very good, which I appreciated, but the food quality just wasn’t what I remembered or expected. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but this experience could definitely have been better
