My wife and I dined at the Outback for lunch today. We had the "Triple Deal" which is a great value and our favorite meal there. We also ordered their $10-to go meal to take home - another wonderful value. Outstanding service was provided by Hunter H. We had a minor issue with getting a gift-certificate to work. Hunter and his manager solved the issue promptly, graciously, and, I must say, BIGLY! What had already been a 4-star experience became a 5-star experience and to the MOON. We will be returning early and often. Great job, Hunter, manager, and Outback. Kudos. Please go there!

Had an extremely disappointing night at this location on 8/15/26. My main concern was with the quality of the food.
Their systems were down, so the hostess checked us in by writing our name on a brown napkin with a yellow highlighter. They took down the phone number of the person before us in line but not us. They said the wait would be 30-35 minutes. I'm not sure if we did not hear our name get called (we were standing outside due to the waiting area being full) or if they lost our napkin, because when we finally were able to wait inside (at around the 45 minute mark) the hostess asked us for our name again, and we had to wait for an additional 15 or 20 minutes while noting that people of the same party size who arrived after us were being seated before we were. Once we ordered, the food took about 45 minutes to come out. My friend ordered a 6oz sirloin, and while I understand the size and weight reduces upon cooking and it looked more like a medallion size than a typical 6oz size. I got the Bloomin Onion Burger. The quality of the ground beef might have been the worst I've ever experienced while eating out - the patty was mainly grizzle and had multiple bone pieces throughout. The blooming onion pieces as toppings on the burger had a stale texture to the batter, definitely not fresh from a fryer, but also not soft like it had been microwaved. Our server was attentive and warm, and the runner was very helpful accommodating. I most likely will not be returning to this location due to the food experience we had. The quantity of food for the price was reasonable, but the quality was not.
Whoever cleans this facility should be ashamed of themselves! The floor is not clean, or it was cleaned with mop heads that's just cleaned the lease trap and sat wet for 5 weeks in a corner wet. The floor is a hazard.

My family’s (party of 13 with a 7 PM reservation) trip to Outback on Saturday July 25th. We were sat quickly and our drinks were made quickly. Our server was great, friendly & attentive. Where it all fell apart is the time it took to make our plates. We sat there for nearly 2 hours without a word of where our food was. We watched as tables around us got sat, ate & turned over. I specially watched the 3 booths I was facing. Three parties came, ate & went. I’m not great with math but that’s 12 people. It honestly felt a little deliberate. I know it wasn’t & we probably got lost in the sauce but no word from the manager. How could the head chef see our order for almost 2 hours and not notify the general manager to maybe offer a free bloomin onion or something. Understandably we are a large party but we had a reservation. We were expected to be there.
In addition my steak which my wife & I chose to share was like rubber mulch. It was very difficult to even cut in half.
That day there also seemed to be a plumbing issue with a urinal. It was overflowing and piss water was all over the floor. There was no avoiding stepping in it.
Overall not the best visit.
Will we be back? Yeah probably. The kids like the skillet cookie. Just not anytime soon.

I am writing this review to formally document a disturbing and discriminatory experience at the Outback Steakhouse in Vero Beach on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
I was dining at a separate table with a group of four. We had an excellent experience with our waiter (will edit once I get her name) who was awesome and tipped her well for her service.
We had already paid our bill and tipped appropriately nearly 15-20 minutes before the police arrived. We were not part of the large party nearby nor were we involved in their payment misunderstanding.
However when I saw a massive task force of 10–12 officers descend upon the restaurant I stood up to observe the situation and attempted to mediate to ensure that things remained peaceful and respectful.
What I witnessed was appalling. Responding officers informed us that the call had been placed as a report of 40 people acting “hostile and out of control.”
As an eyewitness who was not part of that group I can confirm this was a complete fabrication. The group consisted of local church members mostly pastors, deacons, and elderly retirees 🤦🏾♂️who were calm, orderly, and actively trying to settle their bill. There was no violence, and no aggression.
Because I and my table stood nearby to ensure the situation did not escalate, the manager targeted us. Despite the fact that we had no issues, had already paid, and were simply witnessing the manager’s overreach, she banned my entire table of five people as well🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️.
This was a clear act of retaliation against witnesses who saw her lack of professional judgment. I never had any words with the manager at all.
I spent my time trying to calm an elderly deacon whose blood pressure was spiking. He was in a state of deep shock, frustrated, and kept repeating that the entire situation was “embarrassing.”
As a millennial, I could not understand the need to be embarrassed. I wouldn’t feel shamed about the police presence I would be ready to stand my ground.
But watching him, I realized he felt a profound sense of shame that he didn't deserve. He comes from an era where respect, character, and dignity were the standard, and having the police called on him for simply trying to pay a bill was a violation of the values he has lived by his entire life.
His embarrassment wasn't a sign of weakness it was a testament to the honorable, dignified way he has carried himself for decades. To see that character treated with such disrespect by management was truly uncalled for.
Guest from another table who wanted to see what was going on informed me that this manager banned customers recently for no valid reason.
They noted that many people she “banned” previously have returned the following weeks without the staff even recognizing them proving that these bans are not security measures, but hollow power tripping tactics used to intimidate those who question her.
I have everything regarding this incident on video, including the officer's comments. I am currently looking into this location's history of calling the police on peaceful patrons as a standard operating procedure.
It is clear that this is a toxic, systemic pattern of behavior under this specific manager. I’m not sure of her name but will edit that as well.
I am escalating this directly to Outback Steakhouse Corporate with my video evidence and proof of the restaurant's selective enforcement of policies.
This manager lacks the professional judgment and de-escalation skills required for this role. If you value customer dignity and want to avoid being the target of arbitrary retaliation, I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere.
The responding officers were professional. Once they arrived and saw they were dealing with peaceful, God-fearing citizens simply trying to pay their bills, their demeanor shifted immediately.
They didn’t walk into a riot, they walked into a group of respectful elders. The officers clearly recognized this was a non-event compared to the fights or “dine-&-dash” calls they usually handle.
