  Imagine having arranged reservations for a large party of almost 30 at a popular local restaurant days in advance only to arrive with everyone and not only are they not prepared for you, they have an extensive list of food they have run out of, they also try to seat your party which includes one needing wheelchair access up two flights of stairs (which they knew about). Well, one call to Logan, at our local Venice Bonefish Grill, and he turned a horrible situation into an amazing night for everyone in our party. He and the entire staff, as always, went above and beyond to make our night one where we could enjoy the celebration that brought us all together to begin with. The food and drinks were exceptional and the service was stellar. Thank you again for everything.

  At 9 o’clock on a Saturday. You have 28 ppl from a wedding party. We had previous reservations at another restaurant that failed miserably. All 28 of us left ant went to Bonefish. The owner was over accommodating and every staff member greeted all of us. They really took care of all of us by getting bread and Bang Bang shrimp ready ahead of our arrival. Within 5-10 mins we had bread out on all the tables and shortly after came the shrimp. All the drinks came and then the food. Everything was awesome. We went from an unhappy wedding party to a very happy and full wedding party. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cudos to the whole team.

  Bonefish Grill Venice deserves a shout-out! 🐟👏 I’m not usually one to seek out chain restaurants, let alone review them, but I have to make an exception for Bonefish Grill in Venice, Florida. Every Bonefish I’ve visited has given me a great experience, but the Venice location has become a favorite. I’ve probably been here more than 35 times over the past several years, and the reason is simple: they are comfortable, dependable, and incredibly consistent. But the staff at this particular location deserves recognition—exceptional with a capital E! Bartenders Travis, Jen, Chris, Christ, and Billy, along with server Donna and the assistant managers Kim and Ty, and all of the team, are simply outstanding. They make us feel like family every time we walk through the door. They make you feel like you’re the most important customer they have, even when the place is busy, busy, busy—and trust me, this is one busy location! Tonight I had something a little unusual for a primary seafood restaurant: the barrel filet. It was exceptional—cooked perfectly, just as they consistently do with everything we order. Everything is delicious other than seafood. So, a big THANK YOU to this incredible crew. You make every visit special, and your commitment to genuine customer service doesn’t go unnoticed. This is a great crew. This is a great location. And Bonefish Grill is exceptional. If you haven’t tried it, you should. And honestly, if the other Bonefish locations are anything like this one, you’re probably going to have a great experience there, too! Update same day August 17, 2026 - It was nice to see Bonefish respond to my review so quickly this evening. What was disappointing, however, was realizing that the response didn’t feel personal. It appeared to come from a customer service center—or worse yet, an AI bot—with a generic, canned message. If the response had come from the restaurant manager or Logan, the restaurant partner, it would have meant so much more. Those are the people I would have wanted to hear from—someone who could personally thank the team members I took the time to recognize by name. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but this is exactly the kind of thing that can give large chain, corporate operations a bad name. Sometimes you just want to know that there’s a real person behind the response, especially when you’ve taken the time to give genuine praise. Give me the personal touch of a local business any day. That’s where your money feels better spent!

  First, our waiter was fabulous. This used to be my and my husband's favorite restaurant. He passed and I haven't been there for a few years. Five of us went yesterday for my birthday. None of us liked our food. The shrimp tasted fishy as well as the Cod and scallops. Neither the asparagus nor the Brussels sprouts were good. Asked for med. well steak it was red and bloody and tough. Ordered a drink that was on special yesterday supposed to be like a rum punch. It tasted like cough syrup. My son thought I was exaggerating until he tried it. Yep cough syrup, we did not drink it. It was comical that pretty much everything except the bread and french fries was not to our liking. For 400 dollars with tip for 5 people we certainly expected better. Don't know what happened there but we won't go back.

  We were in Bonefish restaurant last Thursday to celebrate with our niece and new husband that were on their honeymoon. We were unable to attend their Illinois wedding but came to Florida on their honeymoon. Her choice for dinner was Bonefish. We all chose our entree”of choice but we didn’t order an appetizer. When Our food came I noticed the small portions we were given. I usually only eat 1/2 my dinner and end up taking my other 1/2 home but was quite surprised at the amount of servings we were given?! We then ordered desert as well. My husband had ordered shrimp and scallops with 2 sides. I could tell he seemed frustrated about his dinner but didn’t want to say anything in front of the newlyweds. The grooms dinner was quite small as well and he had cleaned his plate quickly… I was wondering why the portions were so small. Our bill came and was over $150 which I thought was quite pricey for what we had ordered. We hadn’t had a chance to talk about it until we were on our way home and my husband said how he was still quite hungry?! I have been trying to call and chat with someone about this but I haven’t had any luck finding a number that was specifically directing me to where I needed to go… the food was good, our waiter was great but when you spend that amount you’d expect to walk away with a full stomach… probably not returning. Update: - 8/19/2026 No one has answered my concerns… I have tried calling seven times and I got absolutely nowhere… very frustrating and feel to be redirected.
