We stopped in while traveling. The food was excellent. The people there were very nice and friendly. Great service. We definitely will stop in again if we pass through at another time.

This place used to be amazing. We’d drive 45 minutes just to eat there. The last 3 times we went, the food has been very disappointing. I ordered the turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes and gravy, and it came with a biscuit. The turkey was extremely nice dried out. The gravy didn’t help it. I couldn’t even eat the dressing as it had no flavor and was so dry it crumbled when you put a fork in it. I was only able to eat the turkey by mixing it with the mashed potatoes and gravy.
The service also used to be outstanding, but this time after getting our drinks, we waited and waited for someone to come take our order. I kept watching other waitresses standing around and talking. I was about to ask one walking by if we even had a waitress then noticed one finally coming to our table.
We won’t be returning to this place that used to be so good.

EDIT: Instead of acknowledging the issue, the owner has doubled down and takes his customers for idiots. He has not bothered to reflect on the AI-image service he clearly started using around July.
I extracted every image from the Google listing and their website/online-ordering menu. Everything in July comes back as 99% fake. And it's obvious. Have y'all ever seen corn look like that? Slow cooked green beens holding the shape of a noodle? Mushrooms on a burger that look like water chestnuts mixed with slices of banana? chicken tenders that look like a poodle? Zoom in on those maple syrup containers... and the mustard... and the ketchup... and the sugars... the butter with the cornbread. Perhaps the chicken quarters that have 2 drumsticks per quarter... Do you see the discombobulated text on the condiment bottles? Two forks mysteriously merging as one in multiple images... the fried green tomatoes, the tenders, the grilled cheese, cheeseburger etc. Every single thing this business posted in July was fake, even the edges of the country ham look like a hybrid of sourdough bread crust. Unnatural.
You cannot pass off AI-generated food images as photographs of the food customers will actually receive.
Depending on Justins response I may dedicate a brand new website, utilizing all of these images, to educate everyone on how to tell apart fake vs real.
EDIT ^_______________________________________________________
Stop using AI slop to market real meals. It looks awful, misrepresents the food, and reflects badly on a business built over years. Your customers’ real photos do a far better job of representing the business.
Be honest, replace these with real food photography, and I’ll change my rating to five stars.
You have got to stop posting Ai images as if it reflects the look/quality of your food. It looks awful, it reflects on the shortcuts you take in your business. Your customers REAL photos will save your business while you continue to diminish it with ai slop and attempt to pass it off as legitimate marketing material. I'll change my rating to 5 stars once you do.
