I asked the guy at the counter if we can get some peanuts and he said they were closing soon and he wanted to keep the floor clean. I told him your sign on the door says you’re open till 10 and he told me they were closing early. I said we can eat peanuts without making a mess. No answer from him. I attempted to untie the box with no luck since it was triple knotted. I gave up and told my wife this was our last time eating these overpriced hamburgers.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
