The waffle fries didn't seem like they were cooked all the way through. Perhaps it was because we were there after 8;00pm both times and they relaxed their standards. We recently relocated here from Las Vegas Nevada and all of the locations we had been to there were always consistently excellent!

After waiting in the drive-thru line for 5 minutes with no movement, I decided to park and go inside to wait. Upon checking in at the front counter with a gentleman, we informed him that we had placed our orders for pick up in the drive-thru but due to delays, we would wait inside. After providing our names, he pressed a few buttons and we stood in the pick-up area for 30 minutes. Throughout this time, several front-of-house staff walked past me, a 6ft 4inch individual, without acknowledging my presence. After 30 minutes, I approached a young lady delivering an ice cream cone and inquired about the standard wait time for an online order. I expressed my intention to request a refund if the order was not ready and inquired about who was in charge. She promptly fetched Julie, the shift lead. Despite making eye contact with me for 30 minutes, Julie had not once questioned what I was waiting for. After asking for my name, we engaged in a conversation where I pointed out the breakdown in communication from the counter cashier who failed to inform her of the change in pick-up location. Julie attributed the delay to staffing issues, although a staff member was neglecting guest services to clean the lemonade machine and her counter guy was just standing there too. Julie was throwing bags of food at a staff member named Faith who was cleaning and bagging food. Faith was a very sweet person though clearly overwhelmed. Following our discussion, Julie retrieved my order from the drive-thru and asked if I wanted a refund. I agreed, assuming this was compensation for the lengthy wait. After issuing the refund, Julie inquired about remaking the order, to which I stated it wasnt necessary to remake the order (thinking shecwas going to give me the food) . America, Julie then disposed of the food in my face and walked away without offering an apology. It was a rather embarrassing experience, and I believe that Chik Fil A's success was overshadowed by the incompetence of the inexperienced shift lead, Julie, who struggled to manage a few call outs. If she was understaffed, why did the managers leave her alone to handle the situation? It is evident that she was ill-prepared to deal with such challenges and was left to represent the brand without adequate training or support.
