- MMMaiBaddyMay 16, 20263.0I ordered take out. The service is iffy and the process to get take out was confusing as they have 2 counters. The first lady who told me it was the other counter was a bit rude. I never been there and didn't see any signs saying to go to the other counter except a "pizza for lunch" is on the door pointing at the counter I had to go to. The atmosphere inside is nice, a good family friendly casual feel. For the food, we had 2 mini salads, 2 italian wedding soup, and 2 pasta entrees (meat sauce and baked ziti dishes). The dressing for the salad was excellent and I loved that dressing, but the lettuce used for the salad was turning pink where it was cut (meaning it's a bit old, not freshly chopped). The italian wedding soup was absolutely delicious. One of the best italian wedding soups I had. Good, gentle chicken broth flavor, nice meat ball. The pasta dishes though, it was very disappointing. For a more "homemade, authentic" pasta, you should go elsewhere. These pasta dishes were worse than olive garden pasta. My pasta noodle was way overcooked and soft, it shred apart as I used a fork to stab it to eat. The weight of the pasta caused it to tear on my fork trying to put it in my mouth so I couldn't even fork the pasta up unless I scooped it with a spoon. The meat sauce was watery, a bit flavorless, and lacking seasoning. The baked ziti was a bit better in seasoning. I assume the baking part of cooking helped the pasta dry out, not be too soft and the sauce was not too watery so it was equal to an olive garden baked ziti. I was hoping for more. They probably have good pizza based on reviews but I don't want to go back to try it.
