We were really hoping to find a spot with a great atmosphere, awesome vibes, and tasty food for our Sunday night dinner. We checked out a bunch of different restaurants, but they were all booked up. So, we ended up booking Wagamama for our dinner on Sunday night. After finding roadside parking near the restaurant, we checked in at the register and were shown to our table. Our server greeted us and provided us with menus. Following a discussion among ourselves and with our server, we began our order with a lychee martini and a coconut drift for drinks. For appetizers, we selected the Bang Bang Cauliflower, which our server highlighted as a very popular option, along with chicken pot stickers. For our main courses, we ordered the chicken pad Thai, Karage Chicken Strips for our toddler and the chicken firecracker dishes. Our drinks arrived first: a Lychee Martini and a Coconut Drift. The Lychee Martini contained a significant amount of vodka, so much that my spouse could only manage two sips. The Coconut Drift was better, but it still had an excessive amount of sugar. We got our Bang Bang Cauliflower appetizer. However, upon tasting it, we found it wasn't cooked properly. It tasted like they simply coated the cauliflower with sauce without properly cooking it. We were disappointed to have to return it. Following that, our chicken pot stickers arrived. The chicken pot stickers were just okay, without anything particularly noteworthy about them. They weren't even properly cooked around the edges. Both appetizers we ordered turned out to be disappointing. Our dinner arrived and included Pad Thai and Chicken Firecracker. Both dishes were just alright; they could have been better. Compared to how other reviews described them, they didn't live up to the expectations set by those reviews. We couldn't get the Chicken Karage Strips we wanted for dinner. We ended up having to comp the whole thing because even though the restaurant wasn't that full (only about 70-75% empty), we had to wait a super long time for the food to be ready. Our visit to Wagamama was so disappointing that we may not return. We were unhappy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.

Went with a group of 6, about half of the food ordered to the table had to be returned or not eaten. The Ramen broth was salty, the chicken teppanayki was dry and the chicken bao buns tasted like cough syrup. I genuinely had high hopes and excitement for this place, however, the food lacks flavor, the service was hit or miss and the atmosphere felt more like an diner than a fusion restaurant. We certainly will not be returning to wagamama in any capacity. We did share this feedback directly with our server and the Sous Chef actually came out and explained the ingredients in some of the dishes and that he takes feedback and incorporates it into future recipes. That was a nice customer service approach, but unfortunately it didn't prevent the issues we experienced.

A subpar, overpriced dining experience. This is my first time at a wagamama and I was really disappointed. The restaurant itself looks upscale and all the servers were nice. We ordered the Chicken Firecracker Curry and the Chicken Chili Ramen. It took over 30 mins to be served even though the restaurant wasn't busy. When our food arrived, it looked appealing but we could barely eat it. The rice was a dry, HARD chuck on top of the chicken curry. The chicken was way overcooked and rubbery. One dish had cilantro garnish that was yellowing/black 🤢. On top of all that, the portion sizes were quite small for over $20 a person. I would recommend going to an actual Asian restaurant, as it seems like the kitchen at wagamama is in dire straits.

Food was, unfortunately, just not good. Portions are small and the dishes were not fresh, prepared, or presented well. I ordered the Miso Cod. Off the bat, the plating wasnt great - the attached picture is how the plate was delivered. The cilantro garnish was yellowing and limp. The noodles were slightly overcooked and too soft. The cod itself was a tad overcooked, firm and flakey. Taste was acceptable. Portion was pretty small for $24 - only two leaves of gai lan and a few slices of bell peppers. Others at my table had similar experiences. Chicken dishes were tough and dry, and the rice was very inconsistent (hard in some areas, mushy in other parts). Service was good, and tried to be accommodating with a fresh plate of rice, but I'd steer clear and explore other options if you want good food.
