  There’s nothing New York, diner, or uptown about this place and to call it such is actually insulting. Stopped in late night and was immediately confused by the set up and the space. There is barely any seating and it doesn’t resemble a diner. As I approached the counter to order, I wasn’t greeted, just stared at…great start. I ordered a slice of cheesecake and a latte. The cheesecake was rubbery and old. I was told they don’t have any plastic ware so if I wanted to eat it now they could give me silverware. Well, I guess I’m stuck here. $8.99 btw. In terms of the latte, I asked if they had any non-dairy milk to which their reply was, “I thought about ordering some earlier today but didn’t.” When I asked why they didn’t, their response was, “It was too expensive.” Amazing customer service, truly. The icing on the cake for me was the 4% difference in price to use card vs cash, which was not disclosed until I already tapped to pay. The only reason I’m leaving a 1 star review is because 0 stars isn’t an option.

  Top service. There was a problem in the kitchen and the manager ordered burgers from outside and even refund the entire menu.

  Bad first impression. They take their sweet time clearing what few tables they have. We went there for dinner and the place was completely empty with a history lesson of meals from previous patrons. Only one table didn’t have food left on it. The hostess left most of the tables uncleaned during our entire time there. She basically would clean a table only as new people arrived. They serve breakfast all day which tasted good, but the menu selection is limited. They don’t provide toast or protein as side items with the entrees or offer it À la carte. I wouldn’t go back.

  My family ate here yesterday morning and had a terrible experience. After being sat it took 20 minutes for the server to come over who seemed suprised we werent ready to order despite never getting menues. By the time she took our order we were there for 40 minutes and were only one of two tables there. Food came out one or two dishes at a time over another 30 minute window. Two meals were compleatly forgotten and she took our order again after everyone had finished eating. The other tables food was brought to us in error several times. When the final two meals made it to our table one order was very wrong....we were given an omelet smothed in sausage gravy instead of the plain cheese omelet that was ordered. It was sent back and we gave up saying just take it off our bill. The waitress refused to remove from our bill stating that since it was cooked someone needed to pay for it. She tried sneaking it on our bill and hoping we wouldn't notice then got in a yelling match with us about it when we refused to pay. Threatened to call her boss and the police. We agreed we would love to talk to her boss and were about to call the police ourselves for trying to charge us for food we never ordered. She finally gave up and gave us the proper bill while she reminded us how hard she worked so we better tip her well. Two hour breakfast where not everyone successfully received a meal. Avoid this place.

  The menu shows vegan breakfasts. However, there is a new owner and that is no longer offered. I had dry toast with avocado and tomatoes.
