I'm sorry, but this was the worst breakfast I have EVER had in my life. French toast was basically soggy bread that had scrambled eggs on it. Bacon was so greasy and flimsy, that I could see through it. I couldn't eat it. Sausage patty was similar to what you find on a cheap McDonald's breakfast sandwich (but honestly McDonald's has better tasting food). The scrambled eggs must have been made with egg-beaters poured out of a carton. Coffee bland.
The tip that I left was for the servers, not the cook.
I don't know how this place has such a good star rating....

This diner is open 24 hours and has great comfort food and excellent service. The waitresses are always friendly and talkative and seem to genuinely be concerned for the customers.
Nicole is an exceptional waitress and makes the entire diner experience feel more authentic and welcoming. Don’t miss out on this great place!
Comfort food at its best and an authentic diner experience.
Placed order online...super easy and before I could set my phone down they texted me to let me know my order was ready!! Absolutely delicious!! Fresh and juicy burger with fresh toppings. Definitely 5 🌟
I NEED THE LASAGNA RECIPE!!!
I went here in the wee hours of the morning as I waited for a morning flight (didn’t want to get a hotel). Nicole (the server) was very kind and gracious. I got the breakfast burrito and it was manna from heaven. I got the lasagna to go as my breakfast.
I'm searching for the best sausage gravy and biscuits in Tampa, and I saw that Three Coins had that dish on their menu. Wifey joined me and had a combo dish - eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. and enjoyed it.
The sausage gravy and biscuits... Well... I felt like Clara Peller on the Wendy's commercial asking "Where's the beef?!" The gravy was quite short on the sausage, and the biscuits were so hard I had to use a knife to cut through them. PITIFUL!! More than likely hard because they used a microwave to heat them.
I would give the dish a half star if I could, but wanted to be fair with the review. If I combined my 1-star review with Wifey's 4-star, that leaves an average of 2.5 stars. Since it's not worth any more than 2.5, I refuse to round up. Dismal showing for a place that has significant history in Tampa.
Shame on you Three Coins. You put out a message that you don't care about your guests.
