  So good! Definitely would go back. The tom ka soup with shrimp was delicious. Spice was at the perfect level. Hot was actually hot.

  After 4 years in the Tampa Area, this is the best Thai food I’ve had since moving here. The drunken noodles, pot stickers, and spring rolls were fantastic. They are also true to the heat ratings!

  I had duck pa-nang curry Thai hot for take out which was perfection! The sauce was separate from the duck and vegetables so the duck remained crispy. The spiciness left my belly warm and sinuses working but didn’t overpower the dish so was also perfect. I loved everything about it! My boyfriend got chicken drunken noodles also Thai hot. He loved his also and ate every last bite. He loves very spicy food and said his belly was warm after eating his meal also, which means he could have had it spicier, but I have yet to meat a chef who dares to spice a dish to his liking so certainly not TGK’s fault. Food came out quickly, was hot, and service was friendly. We will be back for more and we highly recommend this place to others.

  The food at Thai Gourmet is genuinely amazing, but unfortunately, the customer service and billing transparency left a lot to be desired. I grabbed lunch here last Thursday for the wife and I, with the total initially coming to $46.22. That total already included a $2 service fee for ordering online, plus an additional credit card processing fee. Later, I noticed a surprise $2 upcharge added to my bank statement that was never mentioned at checkout. Trying to get an answer was a hassle—I left a voicemail and sent an email (which bounced back). When I finally got someone on the phone, the owner claimed the extra $2 was for a chicken "upgrade" to our crab fried rice. Neither of us even recalls there being chicken in the rice, and absolutely no upcharge was communicated when I paid at check out or select the menu option see screenshots. Instead of simply addressing the billing error, the owner completely gaslit and belittled me, acting as if I was being unreasonable for questioning a hidden fee. Considering I had already paid their standard online and processing fees, sneaking in an extra charge and then treating a customer poorly over it is unacceptable. As someone who frequently reviews local Tampa businesses, I expect basic respect. No customer should have to fight through an anxiety attack just to get a simple receipt discrepancy resolved. Delicious food, but I can't support a business that treats people this way.
