Haven’t been back here since moving back to Florida was so excited to have lunch here. Chicken burrito bowl was $25 and had zero flavor, chicken was very stringy and chewy! Chipolte is so much better at way less!! $78 for lunch for this bowl and $25 wet burrito and 2 drinks! Very disappointed! Also there was a kid screaming like nails on a chalkboard!!

Oscar is one of the reasons we keep coming back to Rocco’s Tacos. He’s attentive, professional, and has a great sense of humor that makes everyone feel welcome. His drinks are consistently well made, even when the bar is busy, and you can tell he takes pride in giving people a great experience. He’s a real asset to the team. Table side guac is 10/10

My man and I went into Rocco’s Tacos wanting to eat and have a drink before shopping after my surgery. Joshua aka josh (with the man bun) was probably one of the best servers I have had in 10 years and I am also a server myself!! He recommended delish items, GET THE CHURROS!! I will absolutely come back and request Josh for sure! The food was great, but he made it a fun evening with my man! The drinks were amazing and I actually felt like my double was double!! Come check it out!!

First time eating at Roccos for me and my BF. This was for his b-day. My daughter and husband had been there before, was one of a few Mexican style restaurants they suggested. The restaurant and atmosphere is really nice. We were seated relatively quickly. Our server, Charles, did a great job but I feel like he was set up for failure at least 2 times. We gave our orders for drink, appetizers and meals. We ordered nachos with a trio of dips plus the guac bowl. The queso cheese was very lumpy yet soupy and bland. The amount you get in a dish really isn't enough for 5 people. The guac bowl cart didn't arrive until 8-10 minutes later and by then most at the table had given up and started on the nachos. When our server did bring the guac cart, it was missing a few things and the poor guy had to go get what was missing. A few of us have worked in the restaurant business so it's easy for us to be empathetic when things happen like this. Imho, the person who used up the items should have been responsible for replacing it. 4 of 5 meals arrived at the table by a food runner. Mine did not come for a very long time, way longer that the guac, until the server came by and noticed I had no food in front of me. He quickly remedied the situation and apologized, and again, we get it - stuff happens. I am grateful that it was nice and warm when it arrived. Here's where the true criticism starts. My mother and I ordered Moscow Mules. Let's just say there was zero "kick". I don't like ordering an alcohol drink and getting a mocktail but paying for an alcohol drink. Three of us ordered Chicken Quesadillas. The menu doesn't mention shredded chicken which is what we got. I don't have a problem with shredded but it was super bland. The menu does describe the quesadillas as including "griddled flour tortilla, chihuahua cheese, chili rajas". My mother had added mushrooms, which she got, but not one of us had chihuahua cheese or chili rajas on our quesadilla or the plate. Just bland, watery boring shredded chicken and only some pico and sour creme. At least season the chicken if you're going to short the customer the other flavor items. My mother also ordered a side of mashed sweet potatoes which she did not get, though Charles did get her a whole sweet potatoe to include in her to go box. My BF ordered the Enchiladas with the braised chicken which the menu describes as including "two corn tortillas rolled in sauce, melted chihuahua cheese, “refrijoles” and yellow rice." He has run several restaurants as well as cooked for years, Mexican food is one of his favorites and he too was disappointed. The Enchiladas tortillas were not rolled in sauce and there was no Chihuahua cheese. He said the entire dish was bland and underwhelming. Why did we not say anything? Because when we go to a restaurant it is to eat, not wait and that is exactly what would have happened. We would have had to wait again a 3rd time. Is there no one supervising the kitchen? You can keep your apology response because any change or improvement you might do won't change our experience. I don't think we will be back.
