  I placed an order tonight and, unfortunately, the entire experience was disappointing from start to finish. When the order arrived, the delivery driver had a horrible attitude. Then, once I opened the food to begin serving everyone, the food did not appear fresh and, more importantly, it was not hot. I called the Papa John’s location to let them know about the condition of the food and also mentioned the delivery driver’s rude attitude. The response I received from the manager was extremely concerning. Instead of apologizing or showing any empathy, his response was essentially, “What do you want me to do about it?” He then asked whether I wanted the order remade or a credit. Since the food was cold, I asked for the order to be remade. After looking at the order in the system, he responded that it was “not possible” for the food to be cold because it had only been out for 36 minutes. That response made absolutely no sense to me. I live approximately 10 minutes from this location, and he had just acknowledged that my food had been out for delivery for 36 minutes. Food does not stay hot forever, especially when it has been sitting for that amount of time. What bothered me the most was not just the food—it was the complete lack of customer service. A professional response would have been, “I’m sorry to hear that. I can remake the order or provide you with a credit. Which would you prefer?” Instead, I was met with a dismissive tone and then basically argued with about whether the food I was physically standing in front of could actually be cold. Customers should not have to debate with a manager about the temperature or quality of the food they received. Between the delivery driver’s attitude and the manager’s dismissive and argumentative response, there appears to be a serious customer-service issue at this location. Very disappointing experience all around.

  Wonderful experience, placed an order through the telephone and was priced $17 but I noticed it was cheaper to place online. When I arrived I explained the situation to Joe the manager in the store and he was able to help me out and re-price the pizza for me not to mention it was fresh and hot when I got there. I really appreciate the accommodation and definitely will be coming back!!!
