  My picky eaters loved the Chilaquiles, tostielote, banana split and piña colada! My 10 year old old says this place is underrated.. I completely agree! They’re located next door to a gas station which is convenient for travelers. It’s too bad I’m not a local or I would be back weekly.

  I drive by very often driving home from South Tampa and my wife goes by every day on the way home from work. I was stopped at the light at Sligh and Habana and decided to pop in and bought a shrimp taco to go. It was very good, the owner was a very nice, and we will go back for dinner one evening. I have posted the menu for you to take a look at. Well, my wife and I went back for dinner on a Saturday night. There are only about six tables and most of them were full when we got there. The waiter came over and gave us our menus and we checked it out. We ordered and it took forever to get our chips and guac. I had to remind him and then he brought them out. Our dinner was also late coming out. I really think there was an issue with communicating our order to the back. One problem is that the waiter also serves as cashier, busboy, server and clean up as well as preparing some of the drinks. I think in a restaurant there should be a number of people doing the tasks such as cashier, server, busboy, and anything else that needs to be done.

  Stopped there on a whim... it was the closest taco place in my gps, and I wanted tacos. 🌮 Glad we did. Food and service was terrific. Don't expect a lot as far as atmosphere... it's a neighborhood taco joint, but seems like it's family run and the cooking was just what I needed - good home cooked for. The beans and rice were perfect for me also. Thank you!
