Honestly kinda disappointing the food was very mediocre. I ordered a Raman bowl and a sushi roll and neither were all that wonderful. The sushi was ok but nothing better than a roll from Publix and the Raman had less flavor than packet Raman. I also found the price to be good until you take into account the food being mediocre. Won’t be returning, I’d rather pay $10 more and drive further for Crazy Sushi in Wesley chapel

You know it is as a great experience when you can’t decide what was better the food or service…they were both fantastic!
We wanted to try this new neighborhood gem, and we knew we found a great spot when the line was out the door at 5:30pm on a random Friday. They said 20 min wait, and they nailed it. We grabbed a beer down the street (walkable) and then table was ready.
Well worth the wait. Delicious sushi, amazing service, fun atmosphere.
We will be back (often).

Absolutely loved my experience at Ichiban Sushi! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The Seminole Roll was excellent, and the edamame and seaweed salad were the perfect additions. Everything tasted high quality, and the portions were great.
The service was just as impressive — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. It’s clear they take pride in what they do.
I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Ichiban Sushi to anyone looking for great sushi and a welcoming atmosphere!

I am rating this only on the ramen. If you want legit ramen, this is not the place to get it. I had the tonkatsu ramen and it didn’t taste at all like it should. Tasted like the stuff they use to preserve dead animals before they’re used in an anatomy class. The egg wasn’t done correctly. Just not even close to authentic.
Response to Owner: This was from takeout. I put it in my own bowl to heat it up since it wasn’t hot enough. That’s to be expected after traveling to a delivery. What’s not expected was the taste being less than enjoyable.

I usually do reviews when the establishment is poorly run, bad food, or terrible service. But true in every word. For once let me write a good review.
I came upon this little joint while taking a detour from my regular route, due to construction. Yesterday Monday night. I noticed this place by the bright red sign, which is usually a good color. It drags you in. I came during dinner which was beginning to get busy. I was welcome by this beautiful brown skin tiny waitress. Beautiful smile, something about her eyes. She gave me a menu, I made small talk. She gave me great recommendations. While I was thinking about what to get I noticed the waitress kept looking at the chef. Young handsome guy. I noticed when he looked at her she turned away. They look like a nice couple and if they not dating or in a relationship, they should be. They are cute together.
I order a Crab Rangoon to start. Then had the famous Monk Roll, which the gorgeous waitress recommended. This one is cooked which I like. Not a big fan of raw fish. To finish I had a Ramen Savory Beef.
My review.
Pros:
Food- is amazing. Crab Rangoon is home made which is fantastic. The Monk Roll, was incredible. Specially with the eel sauce. Eel sauce. Wow! The Ramen. Is perfect for any time of the year. The beef melts in your mouth while your taste buds twirl with all the ingredients. Get the spicy one. Well worth it.
Service- is good, like I said, great waitress. She looks a little tired. That chef should take her on a long vacation. But she was on point when it got busy.
Time- food came out at the perfect time for each plate. People need to realize good food takes time to make. This isn't McDonald's. It shouldn't be treated like one. Sushi making is an art. It should be treated like that. Not meant to be a fast food joint.
Restaurant- Nice little place. Good place for a first date or to have some kind of celebration.
Staff- great staff. I really liked when I left and they told me thank you for coming.
Cons:
Music. I don't know what they had on. I prefer some Japanese ambient, chill, lounge music. We are in Florida, not a retirement home. It needs a little bass pump. You here to enjoy food. Good food and good music is a good mix. They need to change the Dj.
Drinks- no liquor. I asked, and they been waiting for the license for a while. I hope they get it soon. It will definitely bright up everything. They said we could bring our own, I'll bring some beers next time for the entire staff.
Restaurant- a little small. They should buy next door and make the restaurant bigger.
Great place.... I will definitely be back to try other rolls and specially for the Ramen.
Hope this helped in making your decision where to eat.
