- OPOlivia Parrillo5 days ago2.0I don't want this review to stand for all employees because most are very accommodating and sweet. But everytime I frequent this Einstein Bagels one employee is just so rude and unhelpful (short female with brown hair). They implemented a new self-service POS system but it's not updated with their new flavors and some flavors that are on there they don't have. They have a long line building at the self service when no one is at the counter. Anyways - that's not even the point of this review...I wanted an iced creme brulee latte and there is no way to ring that up in the new POS system - so I asked. This associate told me the creme brulee could only be done as an iced coffee or cold brew and not an iced latte. How does that make any sense...it's just the syrup. Anyways, I ring it in and told they'd just remember to make it a cold brew creme brulee...what's the point of self service then? I was waiting there because I misunderstood and thought she'd ring it in for me and she was just so rude. Horrible experience all round. I'll walk to the Marshall Center from now on my break for a coffee.

The person at the counter asked “cash or card?” I replied card. he told me to go to the kiosk as if he cannot take card at the counter, then proceeded to allow others after me to use a card. Because they ordered at the counter, their food was ready before mine despite arriving after me. I asked why some were allowed to order at the counter and I was not. The other employee stated “Convenience”… convenient for who??? I was made to think they couldn’t even take card at the counter. I got a text notification that my food was ready, nobody had started it. It took 20 minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese despite being the first and only person there when I arrived. I watched people’s coffee and sandwiches be made before mine despite being there first. Not coming back because that felt bad. Very sad because I work here :(

It ended up being exactly what we needed. Jerome's positive energy and genuine kindness immediately lifted our spirits. He was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home during a stressful morning. The food was excellent too—fresh, delicious, and prepared perfectly. Thank you, Jerome, for making a difficult day a little brighter. Great customer service really does make a difference!
