5/5 Stars – Generous Portions & Authentic South Indian Flavor!
We ordered catering from Chennai Dosa for a group event, and they absolutely delivered on every front!
Generous Quantity: The food volume was incredible—everyone was well-fed with plenty to spare. You definitely get great value for your money.
Authentic Taste: The flavors were 100% authentic South Indian, cooked to perfection with traditional spices that reminded everyone of homemade feast staples.
Highly recommended if you are looking for hassle-free, high-quality South Indian catering for any gathering or function!

We wanted to take a moment to recognize Randy, who provides truly exceptional customer service. He is incredibly hardworking, attentive, friendly, and genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of, his positive attitude and dedication really stand out. He is an absolute asset to this restaurant and makes such a difference in the overall experience.
The restaurant also has really good filter coffee and breakfast options, which is always a nice bonus and something we enjoy when we visit.
In fact, Randy is one of the main reasons we continue coming back to this restaurant. Employees like him are what create loyal customers and make people feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated.
Management should absolutely know what a valuable employee they have in Randy. He deserves recognition for the outstanding service he consistently provides.

Casual sit-in location, delicious food. I haven’t had dosa in years (it’s massive!) and the garlic naan, dal and chicken dishes didn’t disappoint. Considering another visit before we leave town. Sambal and chutneys delicious. Good flavors and the heat was lovely. We ordered two dishes plus the dosa and naan, and left with two pieces of naan and nearly half of each dish for lunch tomorrow.

There is a popular lunch buffet and it is busy. Plate sizes are nice and large. Unfortunately, they do not label anything on the buffet, so you have no idea what each dish actually is. We are very familiar with Indian food, but we spent a lot of awkward time looking for someone to tell us what we were looking at on the buffet. One of the men told to just taste it...and he did (because he didn't know either). He just stuck a spoon in there and put it in his mouth. OMG, please don't encourage people to do this at the buffet! Ewww! The vegetarian dishes were good but the chicken they use is poor quality. Every bite was really just bone or a mouthful of cartilage. It was very unpleasant and I continually spit out every bite (of 3 separate dishes) until I finally just gave up on the meat dishes. The staff is very friendly, so that's a plus but there is no service. You have to get your own water and no one ever asked if we wanted to order anything else to drink or otherwise. The lemon rice is delicious and they have wonderful paneer. Their chutneys are very good as well. There are many gluten-free and vegetarian options. I recommend this place if you don't plan on eating any of the meat dishes. FYI, there were NO dosas on the buffet so that was confusing considering the name.
My family and I went to this restaurant about a week ago close to closing time, but we were still able to enjoy their lunch buffet. It was our first time in Tampa and we wanted some good Indian food after visiting the temple. We were very pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and importantly, the delicious food! My family is known to be picky about South Indian restaurant food and I have to say, we thought it was one of the best Tamil food we’ve had in the US. I wish we had a chain here in Pennsylvania! The owners were incredibly hospitable and nice, please go check out this place. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town! (And will try the breakfast buffet!)✨
