Not the best. I thought based on the reviews it’d be better but the pita was stale and the food wasn’t very flavorful. We thought the portions were small for the price. Baklava was good and service was poor.

I’ve been going to Byblos for over 10 yrs. I remember the old vibes. It’s still a good staple. I love their octopus and can’t go wrong with some labneh for the table. Recently hired a friends birthday dinner here and they were very accommodating. Can I say I miss the old Byblos when they had the hookah option? But I like the new setup too so I guess I have an appreciation for both.

Wandered in to this establishment for an early dinner after painting with a twist. I believe it's Lebanese food. The food was good. Nothing special or exciting. Just good food for a decent price. I had fried calamari as a starter. Flavorful, but a bit chewy. I like my calamari more crisp. The marinara sauce that came with it could use more spice and was runny. My entree was the lamb that came with cous cous. The entree was on point. The lamb was flavorful and perfectly cooked to medium rare. My girlfriend had the chicken shawarma. It was good as well. Spices were excellent. It was a touch dry. We had espresso martinis with a splash of Bailey's. That was the highlight. My only real complaint is that service was lackluster. Did the bare minimum. Seems to be the standards of service in Tampa. I think we interacted a total of four times. Essentially took our orders and dropped the check. Minimal engagement. No check backs to see how the food was. Didn't ask if we've been there before or any explanation of what the restaurant is or is about. Those things should be standard and changes the dynamic of the experience rather than purely transactional. The guest experience is the most important thing. Mine was just okay at best. I'd dine there again, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The happy hour menu has great cocktails and delicious appetizers. We had the burrata salad and the trio dips. Burrata was served on a bed of arugula and was nicely seasoned. The dips were very tasty. For our mains we had the grilled octopus and grouper. Both dishes were prepared very well. Octopus was fresh and the potatoes were nicely prepared. The grouper was a very generous portion served on rice with chickpeas and tomato. Very delicious. The meals are very reasonably priced and our server was very attentive. Highly recommend.

Our dinner was delicious and the service was phenomenal. Kiki, the manager helped us with catering our wedding and the food/service was spectacular. Every guest commented on the quality of food and we couldn’t be happier we chose this amazing place to cater our big day. Kiki was great to work with and he even came to our wedding to ensure everything went according to plan. If we could give more than 5 stars we absolutely would. The Kapinskys.
