The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We ordered the chicken Marsala and the New York strip and it was so tasty Raegan was our server and she was excellent! Her service was top-tier, very attentive, kind, and fast with her service we love having her as our server! Ask for her. We will be back for the food and Will be asking for Reagan when we do!

We had a wonderful experience at Brio Italian Grille! The food was absolutely fantastic, and our server, Layla, made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Excellent service and delicious food — we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend, and a special thank you to Layla for taking such great care of us!

Tampa Bay Food Tours visited Brio Italian Grille at International Plaza & Bay Street. I’ll start with the positive: the food at Brio was great, as always. I’ve dined here dozens of times over the years, so this isn’t a review based on one visit. Brio has been a longtime favorite and a reliable go-to for lunch. On this visit, I tried the Butter Prawn Pasta special from the new Terrace Menu and really enjoyed it. The food itself continues to be one of Brio’s strengths. Service was a little slow, and I normally enjoy sitting in the bar overlooking Bay Street, but unfortunately, it was closed during my visit. There are, however, some updates worth knowing about. My bigger disappointment was the new menu and pricing. The smaller lunch-portion pastas I was accustomed to ordering are gone at this location. Instead, I was presented with the new menu and essentially full entrée pricing. Add a $15 glass of wine, and what used to feel like a reasonably priced lunch can now easily approach $50 for a single diner. After my visit, I went to Brio’s website to see if I had simply missed the menu changes. Instead, I found the old lunch menu still posted, showing the smaller lunch portions and lower prices I was accustomed to ordering. That is not the menu I was offered at the International Plaza location. That bothers me more than the price increase itself. Restaurants change menus and raise prices—I understand that. But if a location has rolled out a substantially different menu, the company website should reflect what customers can actually order and what they’ll actually pay. That’s what makes this disappointing. After dozens of meals at Brio, I feel like I’m losing a favorite spot. The food is still very good. It’s the overall value that has changed dramatically, and unfortunately Brio probably won’t be in my regular lunch rotation the way it once was. Tampa Bay Food Tours Tip: There is still some value to be found. Brio advertises $8 drink specials and select menu items weekdays from 3–6 PM at the bar and outdoor terraces, with all-day Happy Hour at select locations. Given the menu discrepancy I found online, however, I’d recommend confirming current pricing and specials with this location before heading over.

Brio is a really nice place!! The food and atmosphere are top notch. We had the absolute best server of all time and next time we go there we are certainly going to ask for him. His name is Sebastian C and he was so kind and friendly. It was my nephews birthday and while he didn't want anything from the restaurant as a big surprise his wife and us thought it would be fun and Sebastian was just so awesome with helping us with pulling off the surprise and just really being an all around great person!! 10 out of 10 for everything!! We will definitely be back.

The food was good , the food was a little salty. The atmosphere had a very pleasant ambiance, but honestly what made the whole dining experience far more worth it , was our server. Layla was prompt , attentive , and had the most pleasant attitudes of servers that I have experienced in a loooong time. The type of service we experienced with Layla today was that that I see dwindling in the food service industry. When I come back with my whole family next time, I hope that we can have her as her server again or at least someone just as spectacular as her.
