I’ve been visiting the Nordstrom restaurant since International Plaza opened in 2001, and it remains one of my favorite spots in the mall. I love the open kitchen and the lively bistro energy and love to see the chefs at work. My go-to is the chicken with pommes frites, but whenever I stray, I’m never disappointed. Also shown the steak sandwich and at the service bar the French onion soup. The soups, salads and brick-oven pizzas (made to order) are all outstanding. It’s consistently good, always busy, a little loud — and definitely crave-worthy. TBFT Tip: Don’t be afraid to visit solo. Grab a seat where you can enjoy the open-kitchen vibe and energy or settle in at the bar. And be sure to check out their Happy Hour!
