Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They forgot food items, way too much mustard on my burger, and had to fix my drink twice because they were “out of peach” I guess. I wouldn’t recommend this one to anybody.

I really don't think getting your hair done and serving food go hand in hand, but maybe that's just me. Oh, not to mention, we didn't even get what we paid for. Since we were just passing through on our way back home to Lake County, FL, and trying to get there as quickly as possible, we didn't have time to park, go in, and wait 15 minutes for them to fix what they couldn't read on the screen. But maybe her hair was in the way?

The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I definitely appreciate, but the food quality was far from what I expected. The burgers were extremely dry, and the patties were different shades of brown, making it seem like they had been sitting around for quite a while. The burgers were served so cold that the slices of cheese never even melted. To make matters worse, the buns were hard and dry. Great customer service can only go so far when the food isn't fresh. I hope this location improves its quality because this experience definitely didn't live up to the Whataburger reputation.
