Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The workers are so rude. Always. This time they made me pay for more then I ordered because she can't listen correctly. I said kids chicken tenders and she made me pay for the adult meal. So tired of people not listening. All she had to do was repeat my order Then I told them just and the worker looked at me like I was crazy! Very disrespectful. The manager needs to pull footage of this girl at 8:16 pm on July 5th Told her I still had three more meal to order and after each order shed ask is that it?! So obviously she wasn't listening

It was very busy. It since like they were under staff and everyone was running around. Could be better organized

Very poor quality of food served this evening at this location. Food was not fresh and tasted horrible. This is not the type of service I am accustomed to with Whataburger.

I really just don’t even know what to say as I’m kinda speechless. I placed my order which came to a total of $10.41. I paid $20.00 in Cash so my change was $9.59. Yes, Cash is still a thing. The girl (a 20something) gave me my $9.00 but then asked if I wanted my ¢0.59 which was awkward enough. I have Never been asked if I want my change 🙄 “yes, of course” (‘what an odd question’ I say to myself). As she had the drawer open I could see there was only pennies & nickels but plenty enough to cover the 0.59 cents. She began to count the nickels & got up to 0.40 cents before she dumped what she had in her hand back into the drawer, shut the drawer & stated “we ain’t got no change.” and walked away. As I have Never experienced something like this before, it took a moment for my brain to process what was happening. I couldn’t decide if she either Couldn’t count by 5s up to 55 & add 4 Pennie’s or she was just lazy & didn’t want to do it?? I realized I was gonna to have to ask for the manager to get my change as I’m not in the habit of just giving businesses my money as if they were a charity case. So, I asked for the manager to get the rest of my change. Maybe if it was 0.03 so something like that I might of let it slide but to begin counting out my change, decided she didn’t want to (or couldn’t which is also an issue) then tell me that “we ain’t got no change” just wasn’t going to get a pass. It became less about the money & more about the principle. Either way, what an awkward situation. Im by no means a “Karen”. I didn’t raise my voice or call her out or cause a scene. I simply asked for the manager to get my change that was owed to me. But Why am I having to do that. I’m only 44. When did counting money go from a daily task every one could do to a long lost skill??? Are they teaching money counting in school anymore?? Either this was a prime example of our shitty public school system or a prime example of a lack of work ethic our younger generations have now. Are the schools designed to actually keep young people stupid by not teaching these skills? Or is work ethic seriously a thing of the past?? Maybe businesses need to ask if potential employees are able to count change OR if they are even Willing to do it. I Rarely leave reviews but damn there’s a lot to unpack there.
