Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I went through the drive through to order breakfast for my daughter before school today. I wanted to make sure she had a good breakfast before testing at school today. The gentleman on the drive thru spoke very fast and comped an unnecessary attitude with me while I was placing my order. I could have chosen any other establishment to grab breakfast but I chose Whataburger. All was not lost though because Savannah came through and saved my experience. Great attitude, pleasant demeanor and very professional. She made sure the order was correct and when I got to the window she met me with a great smile. Savannah for the save! More customer service training is in order for the other gentleman. I have been in hospitality for more than 38 years from fast food to hotels this was an example of making it right.

Do better Whataburger.. I've been eating at this location for for 20 years but I've gone from twice a month to twice a year. And here's why-- We go in and there are two tables occupied. We wait 10 minutes to be acknowledged. We wait another 15 minutes to get burgers and fries. Burgers were okay but the fries are stale. Mind you there are six people on shift. Most of them are doing nothing. There were never more than one or two tables occupied. They're out of sweet tea. We go to leave and the trash bin is overflowing. Also the prices have gotten out of control. If you crave Whataburger, go to the one in Midtown. This one is DOA.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I waited in the drive-thru line for over 40 minutes with no way to exit once cars were behind me. While waiting, I noticed employees walking around, laughing, and restocking, which made the long delay even more frustrating.
When I finally got to the window, I was handed a bag of food that was clearly not fresh—it was cold. I asked for it to be remade, and the manager took it to the back but returned in about two minutes, which didn’t seem like enough time to actually prepare fresh food.
After leaving, I checked the food and found the fries were soggy, stale, and drenched in grease. It definitely did not taste freshly made.
I also contacted corporate, and they didn’t seem concerned at all. Overall, I wasted nearly an hour for food that wasn’t even edible. Very poor service and quality control.
