  The food and presentation looked good, but I left disappointed. It was pricey, but I didn’t mind…until I ate the food and the service. The food took a long time and it wasn’t worth it. The blue lemonade tasted watered down. The birria tasted sweet. I thought it was just the birria tacos, but my ramen birria was sweet too. The server with the red streak plopped our trays. I don’t understand why she was rude. As a Mexican I was so saddened by the food and experience.

  Here’s a polished 5-star review you can post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Talkin’ Tacos has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Tallahassee! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is fun, clean, and welcoming. The food is fresh, packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. The birria tacos are incredible—crispy, cheesy, and even better dipped in the rich consommé. Everything tastes like it’s made to order, and you can tell they don’t cut corners on quality. The street corn is another must-try, and if you have room, don’t leave without getting the churros. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the restaurant had a great vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or a late-night bite, Talkin’ Tacos is definitely worth the visit. If you’re in Tallahassee and love tacos, this place deserves a spot at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

  This place has high reviews so either theyre fabricated or its just this shift? Im not sure. It was overly chaotic though. I ordered birria tacos, a chicken rice bowl, and chips and queso. They forgot the chips and dude didnt know what a mystic lemonade was so I got some random other orange lemonade instead. Food was sub par, but the most interesting thing is, if you order carry out, they set your food on the counter and wait for you to come ask about it despite there being a name and order number. Don't know what its normally like, but wont be back to try it again after this experience.

  This location's service left a lot to be desired. While they offer self-service kiosks for ordering, our food took over 30 minutes to come out despite there being no other customers waiting for food. Unfortunately, the long wait wasn't worth it because the food arrived extremely oily and wasn’t hot at all. On top of that, the prices are very high. We paid around $40 for six tacos and one drink, which didn't match the quality or experience we received. For the price point, I expected much better food quality and faster service.

  We just ate there. My husband got his main food, then our sides came out, then my daughter got her main food. My food never came out. I was just going to finish my daughter’s food. I got up and asked the manager for a refund on my main food, but the manager and the corporate manager did so much for us. What they did was not necessary! But we appreciate it! The food was SO Good and everyone was very friendly. We will be back! We won’t let one minor thing deter us from going back. Life happens and grace needs to be given. Thank you Talkin Tacos!!
